LA Noire - save game files

hello guys..i completly reinstalled everything on my pc (win7ect) now i reinstalled steam and la noire and it seems my old savegames are gone.

i thought steam saves them so that when you reinstall the game you get them back.
i made a copy of my steam folder but as it seems la noire placed the savegames outside of steam.

is it somehow possible to get the save files back or maybe a site where i can get save game files so that i can continue on where i stoped?

You need to start a new game all over again and go

yeah i did that already...sucked to do the cases again but there whas nothing else i could do.

I don't think it's possible to get your save files back, but there are sites out there which offer downloads for game save files. If you use a downloaded save file, you'll have to use "level selection" or whatever it's called in L.A Noire, and play each case by itself. thats link on his file send me to a la noire exe file which is for sure not a savegame file.

so when someone else know a trusty site it or when you can share your save file it would be great.

i started again passed where i stoped but i had to reinstall windows again so the save files are lost again -.-
when i dont find someone i watch it on youtube since i really dont want to play the cases a 3th time.

no one here who would upload his savegame so that i can use it ?
i was on mission with the two black guys death in theire appartment and the drugs which where taped under the bottom of the fastfood "bottles".

for the case one of you is at that point it would be very nice when you can upload your savegame file somewhere.

hmm... i will try it again then. he asked me if i want to download a la noire exe file..maybe i clicked on the wrong button

checked it again..on the left side button it open and window ask me if i want to download lanoirallsave.exe and on the other it wants me to register....strange

This did not work at all for me. That 4shared link is awful. It keeps downloading a setup.exe. If you have to create an account just to download then 4shared can goto hell. The dude went thru the trouble of uploading a video but he couldnt use something as simple as Google storage?
