Failed to load d3dx9_43.dll on Windows 10
When I try to run the game I get some errors about directx, I installed the runtimes that were in the game folder but no luck. My OS is Windows 10, anyone got the same problem?

i installed DX redistributable for another game , and started play La Noire today and it runs fine so I guess you could try that also this game can run in DX11.
What redistributable did you use? I've installed a bunch of them and nothing, also, I'm trying to run the game in DX11 but the error is about DX9 :tw:
You can just use the Web Installer: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
It automatically detects and downloads all missing DirectX libraries. It's one of the first things that you should run after the install of any version of Windows.
I downloaded the web installer and installed it but the error persists. I've reinstalled the game and nothing :sadelf:
you tried running in DX11? its on the config before you launch game.

Yes, but the error is the same...
Win 10 x64 + AMD R290 + CCC 15.7.1 works fine. Have you checked gamefiles in steam? Is rockstar social club update installed? Do you have an account there?
I reinstalled the game twice, updated social club to the latest version, directx and the error is the same :(
same problem
looks like a directx9 problem
the same thing happened to bioshock2
if you try to fix it
download the d3d9.dll from an oficial site
and paste it into c: /windows/ system32 folder

you can also try to force directx11
go to your game right click properties
klick set launch options
within the launch options menue
type -d3d11
start the game.

Hi, thanks for the answer but even when forcing DX11 the error is the same...now I get the same error in Dark Souls.
I copied my L.A Noire from a WIn7 install (Moved a SSD). I ran the game without any problems in Win10.
"Steam" runs the "first time installer" when you start the game and installs all the required files.
(Steam does this for all the games on the game disk ive moved)
Try to either uninstall, install or just check game cache.

I've run into the same problem with dark souls and residente evil 6. I tried to reinstall Windows and the problem was solved...
