Technically, 60fps breaks vehicle physics. But, I use the term "breaks" loosely. The vehicles just become a little more floaty and hard to control. It's nothing that you can't adjust to by just being a little gentle with the controls when you're driving. It's totally worth it to me as the game is gorgeous at 60fps. I'll bet that's why Rockstar never released an official patch, because they weren't going to recode the engine to make the cars behave perfectly and they probably would've considered it a broken patch if the cars weren't perfect.
I tried saving the tables, but it doesn't seem to work unless you set the whole thing up from scratch every time you launch the game
I'll try to look into an automated method but I think it might be past my abilities.
EDIT: Good news is that I may have a tool for you guys that would be a simple one click solution. The bad one is that because I made it thanks to CE, my antivirus doesn't like it. I'm trying to make sure it doesn't freak out AVs for no reason if possible.
I'm not having this issue, I only play in regular 1080P though. You're welcome by the way, enjoy the game!
As for the whole 60FPS and physics, yes it's mostly the vehicles physics that are affected. I personally find it playable. The face animations do work, they just get a bit blurry but it's worth the trade-off for me. There's also a section early game where you supposedly need to cap at 30FPS while chasing a guy or a car will hit him and fail the mission. It's true, but I personally managed to pass it with 60FPS. Thanks everyone for replying.
Same above for that art money.
Hi thank you for posting,
I understand your concerns but there is virtually no way to modify the FPS other than to modify the game's memory while it's running. Widescreen Fixer and other are doing the same thing. I totally understand your concerns, though I doubt having CE running would cause a VAC ban. As long as you're not injecting anything, it's just another program. Of course some anti-cheat might kick you if they detect CE running but that should be about it. In the case of my tool, it just loads some of CE to do the injection and that's it. I'm currently trying to see if I can modify my tool to instead of being a button, make it a hotkey and to make the tool shut itself entirely after activation. No fear of forgetting stuff then. Other than that, all I can say is to be careful. Thanks!
Maybe you can use your same program for a widescreen fix. But if you can shut it down after it does it's thing that would be nice.
Hey there. I'd love to provide a widescreen fix but this time for real, it is outside my league. The folks who made Widescreen Fixer are very talented people, and looking through the multiple updates they did back then, they had problems with the map, menu etc... not working and all that. As for the auto shutdown, I've updated my tool and hope to release the new version soon with now a hotkey instead of a button to click and auto-close after it's done patching

I'm guessing this is because the mocap was at 30 frames a second and because the game is running at 60, it ♥♥♥♥♥ up a bit. Especially at the end of that vid. Any possible solutions to this?
