L.A Noire WINDOWS 10 LAUNCHING FIX
Change the folder name to "LANoire".

?:\Steam\steamapps\common\LANoire

You do not need to download the game again. To change the name of the folder, you first need to modify the " AppManifest_110800 " KERNEL file. For example:

1. Steam\steamapps Go to your folder.
2. AppManifest_110800 Open it with Notepad.( Find the AppManifest_110800 file that belongs to La Noire. )
3. Find this line ( "installdir" "L.A. Noire" ) and Change it to "LANoire". and save.
4. Change the folder name to "LANoire". ?:\Steam\steamapps\common\LANoire

Just did exaclty that and steam is forcing a reinstall. it autocreated a new folder with the original "L.A.Noire"

To all those still experiencing this problem, I found a fix that works on another Steam thread. Download the file and add Error Handler 2.reg to the registry.
