Why does the Deployment Phase even exsit?
Think about it. During Production, not only can you do what you would normally during the Production phase, but you can also move around your heros since you can SEE where the horde is coming from.

Not only that, but there is NO COST to moving heroes to there starting position during either stage. You can plop them wherever you want them to start, easily, without wasting any move or action points.

It just dosent make sense to me to have an entire phase that is basically an extra button click. Like yeah "Ooooh the sun sets a bit more" and thats cool for visual reasons, but the loading time between phases is also a good spot to have this.

Maybe its better for newer players who dont realise they can move them at the Production Phase, but why, after I have learned that I CAN do this in Production Phase, have to then have the "Deployment Phase" little thing waste my time (Yes I understand its like 5 seconds but im looking at this from a fast-paced gameplay standpoint) after ive already moved my heroes?

At least let me have the option for the game to have a deployment phase, or, better yet, make it actually matter somehow? Maybe you cant see where the hordes coming from UNTIL deployment phase?

Overall, the Deployment phase just feels so useless to me. Am I not the only one that feels this way or am I just mentally insane crying over the fact that theres a 5 second extra button press to get to the Night Phase.

I think Deployment phase is ok since it kind of gives you an extra step to make sure everything is in place but I think it shouldn't "lock out" the fortifications and repairs.

But yes, I also usually move my heroes during production phase and then just click the button twice.

Save scumming.
Otherwise you could start the wave with all your gold and materials, check exactly what comes where and then spend your resources accordingly.
There's probably other nasty things you could break without that additional buffer phase as well.

It also refills AP and item use, which changes a few things, like being able to use the armor self buff of heroes you just purchased at the inn.

To be fair, if they started with full action points when you bought them instead of none that would go away.

It does feel very much left over from the early demo build which played a bit differently using hero AP in the production phase instead of workers, at this point.

most likely spawning and stuff. you can also cheese some stuff like buffing armor and sticking units right were they will come out of (like for melee) and it will work

It's nice to have a save point between the night and production phase so you can quit out of the game without losing all of your production phase progress if you need to do something else for a while.

I think they put it there for another possible location for bugs. Which is exactly what happened. I'm on the last day, day 13 and the fuc king game won't end the deployment phase. Click on "end phase" and NOTHING HAPPENS! WHAT THE FU CK IS THE POINT OF THE DEPLOYMENT PHASE!? WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU IDIOTS!?
