Looks like a lot of fun melee choices!

Definitely going to try ignoring ranged with the new campaign and then get absolutely destroyed when I get like 80% of the way into the game and find out there is a zone like the lava forest with tree climbing spiders or something lol.

(I didn't play any testing or anything, so we'll see what happens)

Except Haunted One, which I confirmed on Discord that their AoE damage feature is NOT concentration, but still a proxy effect (AoE conc spells like Flaming Sphere can't be used BUT buffs like Haste can be used along with it) and Swift Blade which are so overpowered it's almost comedic how disgustingly strong they are.

Mostly, you’ve been needlessly derogatory, so I probably exaggerated a bit when saying you’ve shifted goal posts in every post, but you have done it more than anyone else in this thread.

I think you just don't know how to have a conversation. I don't think you know what shifting the goalpost is, and that's why this reply didn't quite come out as you'd expected.

Anyways I'm now both bored and annoyed so you play what you like lads, ignore everything I've said here, keep hugging dirt piles or walls or w/e it is that gives you life. Enjoy your game, and hopefully someone would actually like to discuss the poor design of most of these archetypes in a more "unoffended" manner. Peace.

Hahahaha. Clearly not ALSO DESCRIBING ME. Or something.

Anyway, back to the original post, I like doing the straight forward beat down parties and I think subclasses look pretty fun.

Running all new subclasses - fighter, pally, ranger, mage. So far so good on cataclysm - aside from getting absolutely destroyed by the cave bear at level 1 on a few unlucky loads.
