Micro-stuttering in PC gaming
904
Hello,

I recently purchased Cyberpunk, and I’m experiencing minor, millisecond-long micro-stutters that occur randomly every few seconds or minutes. The game otherwise runs at a constant 170 FPS—very smoothly—but these micro-stutters persist.

My system specs: RTX 5070 Ti and an i7-12700K. I have the XMP profile enabled for my RAM, and the PCIe slot is set to Gen 4.0 in the BIOS.

In the Nvidia app, I have the overlay disabled, the shader cache set to 100 GB, and Resizable BAR set to "Automatic." In Windows graphics settings, I’ve set the game to "High performance" (using the RTX 5070 Ti). I’m using the "Medium" preset with DLSS set to "Balanced" or "Quality" mode.

Using DLSS Swapper, I’ve tested both version 310.9 and 310.9.1. I’ve also tried toggling the power management mode in the Nvidia app between "Normal" and "High performance."

I’ve tested Nvidia drivers 617.14 and 617.42.

I’m not sure if I’ve missed something or if there’s another setting that might be causing these occasional micro-stutters.

I am running Windows 11 26H2.

Thank you very much.

Check your autosaves and checkpoints, maybe the game is just saving because that can cause a micro stutter.
