"There was a problem connecting with cloud storage" problem
I was playing normally through my first play through. When the game crashed randomly. I go back to boot it up and on the main menu says "there was a problem connecting with cloud storage" I reinstalled cyberpunk and verified files, but its still there. I have never downloaded mods or etc. Kinda worried since i'm 6 hours in and I really don't want to start a new game. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? I also forgot to mention that steam did a full update before i booted up the game after the crash. If there's no fix to this. I understand

Try to turn off the crossplay save cloud in Gameplay settings I believe.

They added that with 1.6 update if I'm not mistaken and it is turned on by default, which majority of players do not really require since they play the game on a single platform only.

I have done this already. doesn't work and I cant find anything online. Its seems I unfortunately have to restart in a new play through. Rip 11 hours.

Edit: I tried a new game. Now it says the same thing for the new game. I guess, I just have to live without achievements

I've been having problems with the Steam Cloud for Cyberpunk and a bunch of other games over this past day, too. I'm thinking it might be something on Steam's end?

This. Even games I never had cloud sync enabled for have been giving me cloud errors left and right this week totally out of the blue. Manually disabling or re-disabling cloud sync from the properties menu for each game and then restarting Steam seems to have fixed these issues for me. Don't know if that's applicable to 2077 though, as it hasn't done that yet to me and I never had cloud enabled or it. I never enable cloud for games for precisely these sorts of reasons. I just keep lots and lots of local save backups from manual saves, and save frequently.
