"Dream On" Side Quest Stuck At "Neutralize the attackers" Bug Cant Finish

Im stuck at the follow the cables part. i alreaady did and found the black van however it wasnt registered and it wouldnt update and move on in the quest

Ye, stuck, so far still didnt fixed, only way is wait and maybe someone will find how to skip this part or restart quest, only option

The cables lead back to the secret room where you found the ladder. There, on a wall opposite the controls, there is a "panel" that gets highlighted. The cables are going into it.

If that doesn't work, most likely this part of the quest is buggy as well.

For everyone stuck at the "neutralize enemies" go out of the zone and head when you look at the car right in a 90° angle, jump up the stairs there and go over the roof till the far right corner of the yellow marked zone. Drop down there and sneakily jack into the car (passenger side). You can only finish that part in stealth. Not supposed to be like that but that is the easiest way.. you don't even have to kill anyone.

I had this, and it gave me a bit of a headache, but the way I fixed it was by not using stealth. Once you follow the van to the final location, if you go in without using breach protocol or sneaking, you can just take the enemies out at range. It's not my usual approach, but it worked when nothing else did.

Yes but you can restart, people who continued play and cant do this

Confirmed. Mission got softlocked due to me not clearing the 'attackers'.
Problem was, I did this part of the mission using stealth and hacking.
The game needs a trigger to activate in order to clear the 'neutralize' objective, this trigger is the maelstrom reinforcements that get deployed only after the guards spot you and the combat mode is triggered. If you stealth it, they don't see you and the reinforcements are never called. Meaning the trigger never activates and the quest softlocks.

How I fixed it:
Reloaded an autosave (thankfully it was right before you move into the guarded van area) and went in guns blazing. Reinforcements were called, and once I killed them and the area guards I got the pass for the objective.

Reload save is not fix at all, fix is when you fix quest in progress, i dont consider any help with reloading save, offer solution how to unbrick quest, with save reload there always possibily to do other way

I figured it out. there is one more you have to kill, when you exit the front gate make a right and walk down the street a little, before you get to the corner you will come across him as he spots you. killed him and it instantly changed to connect to van.

Stuck and realized I was killing everyone while stealth and they could not call for the back up. reloaded, went in guns blazing and the reinforcements showed. moving on.
