But i wont say this is the end until we see upcoming expansion
Just boot Silverhand back in his new body, put V in one of those experimental biochips, pop it in some random doofus to overwrite. Both of them get out with a live body.
And the whole DNA compatibility nonsense doesn't add up, unless Silverhand is actually V's dad or something from playing around with some random groupie.
Guess we'll see in the DLC's...
Seriously, how is it possible for him to take over an "incompatible" body, by overwriting it, but not for anyone else?
My V was a corpo in the beginning; during all the story i roleplayed as a merc with her mind on her corpo past with Arasaka (i "killed" Meredith because she was from Militech) and even at the ending, at Embers, i had the chance to ask Hanako if i could rejoin Arasaka.
So, for me the good ending was introducing the engram in Mikoshi because is the only end that gives hope to my character. In the rest of the endings, she just dies, no matter if it is like a Merc Legend of Night City or as a free soul with Panam, she dies.
In Mikoshi, there's a hope for my V.
It doesnt matter which one you pick, they all have the same outcome pretty much.
The Aldecado one just seemed more brighter out of the 3
Yeah, i know: the city always win.
But in my case, i feel that being in Mikoshi seems to be an oportunity for the future.
I even think that it has to be the canon ending, so they can do a Cyberpunk 2177 and all you need to do is put the engram of your old V in a new character created from scratch and you can continue the story, no matter which was your character in the first game.
I mean, it's a way to guarantee that you can use your old character no matter when they create the sequel (if it's gonna be one someday!)
Conceptually, they need to provide an "import your save" option, if they want you to continue to use V in a new game.
There are no saves after the endings, currently, but if they wanted to go there, they could patch that in, and people could run through an ending of their choice.
That could mean that they pick type of ending (for example: a crystal palace dlc). That could mean they throw you through a cutscene tailored to the ending you picked and roll you back to a weaker V (for example, for a long campaign), and/or allow you to build a new V.
But first, they'll have to stabilize the game, fix a few things (like Delamain's status screen, when you're a passenger), and hopefully add a "death march" difficulty for the segment of their users who wanted "I beat the nearly impossible" accomplishment/bragging rights.
Yes, talking about a possible sequel when the first game is not even finished, doesn't seem the right option now!
