"Just another story" quest failing early

When I get into the car to take to the drop off location for some reason about 3 seconds in the quest auto fails, I have plenty of time remaining and the car doesnt have a scratch on it but for some reason I get told I failed with no clear reason. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Good question.

Generally they'll only fail like that if the vehicle you're pursuing gets too far from you (more than 200m ??), so doubt they'd get that far away from you 3 seconds after go time given they're often 50-60m or whatever from you at the beginning.

Is it one of those cars you're supposed to track another car with? I've had those fail quickly for some reason. Maybe it's a bug, or maybe it's just me being too slow. I just skip it and wait for another quest.

sorry typo, 30 seconds not 3, this is just a drop off quest ie "drive car to this location" and that's it,

That's weird it's failing once you're in the car to be lifted & everything else like time/whatever is OK. Don't think I've seen that.
