Report a translation problem
(now, with FO4, I had to launch from the F4SE launcher, but that was specific to that game's modding. CP2077 doesn't have anything like that.)
I've only done manually installed mods with CP, and launch the game from Steam. /shrug
If you check the splash screen after you started the game you'll notice a cogwheel icon; click on that and you'll notice a toggleable option to enable mods or not... that's basically the only thing you need.
Mods will easily work when you start your game like normal (so: using Steam).
I launch the game directly and CET, ArchiveXL, Codeware, Red4Ext, Redscript and others work just fine. I don't use any mods requiring RedMod but that probably works just fine.
A mod manager is nice to install/manage all the mods but it's not required for loading them into the game.
