I understand your disappointment about Sandevistan rework, but that feedback is far from being objective itself. While its your personal preference, it doesn't have to be the ultimate opinion on the matter: lots of other players out there, you know. Having broken mechanics for the game that itself is pretty simple even on very hard difficulty makes the game even more idle. Some players, like you, want to feel omnipotent, so they liked old Sandy. Some players, like me, seek challenge, so I'm in favor of less game-breaking mechanics
To each its own, long story short. You weren't providing constructive criticism, hence I said that you were whining lol
I legit said that the rant was my opinion. If you wanted challenge, there are ways to achieve that. This isn't about your desire for challenge.
It's about people's saves getting messed with every time CDPR releases a new version of this game. It's about people having to change how they play because the devs are treating CP2077 like a live service game. That's early access behavior.
You might be okay with that. I assure you some people are not. To each his own you say? Tell CDPR that. You think challenge was why they tweaked so many things?
At the end of the day, most people who had pre 2.0 saves like me, had to start over. Excuse me for not being happy about that. I didn't know until I started over again and realized I wasted resources in a build that is no longer viable.
You're missing the point and that is fine. Don't call it whining. I paid for this game and it's not the same in terms of variety because everything is streamlined or nerfed into oblivion. If you call that challenge, then something is wrong with your head.
The sandi changes came a long while ago and it's been generally determined by both players and CDPR, that there were things that needed to be nerfed and reorganized, in order to bring better overall quality to combat mechanics and challenges to the table.
Quite frankly, I think Sandi metas are still op as heck and I'm not sure why you're having a hard time with it. There are people out there who can still, easily slice through multiple Maxtac agents until their PCs crashes, using the Sandi + blades meta.
If you desire more constructive feedback, I'll give you one. Start a new save, practice with the changes and find your tune again. You'll see that the changes aren't all that bad, once you get used to them.
Sure you won't be able to slice through the Tac with a blindfold on anymore, but maybe that's not such a bad thing. Take the challenge. Take the nerf and work it.
Pre 2.0 saves are as relevant as 2077 PS4 discs, man. Did you not get the memo after all this time? It's been well over a year since they changed things around. Those saves are obsolete, especially if you wanted to run Phantom Liberty, which only works with 2 and up.
Cool down a little. Think it over.
Last time I played was in 2020. Then I waited to see what was new. 4 years later my old saves and Sandi build are defunct, so I had to start over.
If Pre 2.0 saves were viable, mine didn't work because it was too old.
I didn't start over because I wanted to. So your argument is take the nerf and just accept it?
That is for shills. I already spoke on my opinion on what you call "challenge." Nothing is wrong with having a power fantasy as an option.
This is my opinion.
Fyi I did not keep up with the game. This overhaul/downgrade is a mixed bag to me after beating it a second time.
Without any rage, I wish say, that while you wrote so long complain text, you could be possible search Nexus to found any mod wich almost rewert old gameplay style.
OK, i dont know is exactly such mod exist, but I believe must be or someone will create such earlier or later.
Also I prefer pre2.0 gamestyle, when crafting was really useable, when search components was real pointable action, but OK, we have what we have. This city is too addictive to leave it, just because someone change some of laws.
I believe if someone manage change any laws, then someone also can rewert them back, something alike that.
If I found such mod in future, I will let you know about it here in this thread.
Im sorry you cannot win easy anymore.
That's a nonsensical retort with 0 context.
I refuse to deal with you.
If you want your character to be stupidly overpowered use cheats.
Even so, Cyberpunk still has major balance issues. Ever tried the Byakko for example? WTF is that attack speed? It can kill most enemies almost instantly. Combine with berserk for even more disgusting damage.
No, I'm not talking about in-game such as Sandevistan, I'm talking about Steam. If you don't like the 2.0 update, then why not go back to 1.63?
Open your Steam library, check the games properties and in specific check out the Betas tab. Beta participation allows you to select either 2.13_old or 1.63_legacy.
So... nothing is stopping you to go back.
You're missing the point. The old version isn't updated. It still has some of the old issues. So you're telling me to go back and play the older, less stable version?
Just so I can play how I want?
"Nothing is stopping you from going back." You can eat those words. What a dull thing to say. Omg, I'm so done with you people. Say whatever. Idc. Convo over.
