The character creator is really lame.

The only 2 flavors of male character you can make are some emo neon clown or an E-boy alpha male influencer bro. You can't have any odd skin colors or change the color of face tattoos or cyberware. I'm telling you I would PAY for a DLC that allows more facial tweeking and color customization.

Well, the ability to change your character's appearance doesn't impact the fact you rarely ever see your character in normal game play....unless you go and stand in front of a mirror of course. Perhaps the question (and it perhaps has an interesting answer) is best addressed to CD Projekt??

Play female, like 90% of us

Beside jokes.. there's 1000 mods out there to improve character creation

Didn't they release the stats that said most players have male characters? It was weird because most Vs on social media are female.

Not that I know of. Also I hate the male V's voice. Sounds like he's trying too hard to sound hard edge. Not that I'm too inclined to play male regardless, but they went and gender locked Panam's romance. :(

It's varied enough to be able to create a decent enough character imo, but obviously not as detailed as it could be.

Personally, I have no complaints.

you can still unlock her romance wth mods, even when you are female.
That said, i was joiking i have no clue about M/F ratio of V on playerbase, but it is true that when i look at video and clips almost everyone play female.

Didn't like the games, but the character creator from Fo4 and Fo76 were both good.

Saints row 2 and onwards also had really good ones (shame that the quality of the games didn't stay as consistant in quality).


The CP77 one is not terrible, but there's no sculting or adjusting of the face, just pre-made parts you can swap between, and no real tweaking of the body (height, build, etc etc).
