This is not a solution.
Thanks, i've considered that too, but then i wonder why does this only happen with cyberpunk and not with other games that put a lot more strain on my pc?
I don't see any part of yours that is a solution, and since they supply no PC specs, you can't know that is causing it.
Obvously if it's happening during Cyberpunk then it's stressing your PC more than other games.
What you're saying is a symptomatic treatment, not the solution to the original issue. Normally windows does not turn off power from USB devices randomly because of a mood swing. It's turning it off to preserve power, which obviously means the PSU is not capable to handle the required power consumption. Thats exactly what i said in my previous post.
How do you know it's the PSU not having enough power? That's just a guess.
You didn't even mention if a USB drive or anything else is attached and to unplug that. You went straight to a possible cause with no solution, and yes, it is a possible cause, not the only one.
I was getting that exact same thing when my PSU was more than enough and the power saving was causing it.
I'm not going to repeat myself when i already explained it twice.
I already bought a new PSU with more power. When its delivered we see if it is the PSU (what i think its the problem too)
Update: The new PSU didn't fix the problem
Thats unfortunate and furtunate at the same time. That means it's not a power related issue but something else.
- I did a quick search specifically for cyberpunk and usb errors and some people had the same issue after upgrading windows 10 to 11 and reinstalling it helped.
- Another person had a Razer device and uninstalling Razer Synapse solved the issue.
- Another person had to replace/remove their usb hub/extender because that was causing the issue.
- Apparently there are people who had the same issue caused by a Logitech software.
- Another person says it's a known Ryzen motherboard issue and a bios update could possibly fix it.
note: people said that even if they disable the usb power saving feature for the usb devices the issue would still remain so it's definitely not a definite solution, but it's still worth a try.
So based on all this info, you should think about which one of these could be related to your case and start from there. I'd first try to remove the usb devices and connect only the essentials, or connect them directly to the PC, then start to figure out what kind of software you have installed that is closely related to usb devices and try removing/reinstalling/updating them.
here[www.google.com] you can see all the threads people created over the years on reddit about this issue.
Thank you mate. I check Logitech, Icue and Armoury Crate first. I had Razer too im checking if the deinstallation deletet all to 100%. I also upgraded from win 10 to 11 so thats could be the problem too. Bios is already newest version..
Thanks for your help bud. I hope i can solve it tomorrow.
