Is there a way to turn off blood/gore and sex scenes?
Not sure if there might be a setting for that or if not some mod out there

Cyberpunk videos still seem to be doing good.
But you get demonetised and/or age restricted if you have certain content.
Yeah, I know it's an 18+ rated game, but the age restricted tag means you get less coverage (more than just stopping kids seeing it)

If that's the case...

Should fix the most usual things YouTube gets you for, when used with the gore reducer mod.
As for the scenes you can't skip....skip them by not 'romancing' those 5 characters.
Can't skip Johnny and Alt. But you can edit them out of a video, or just hit the windows button and watch a YouTube vid for about 3mins or so till they are done.

You can still get Panam and the Aldecaldo's to help V as her best buddy after all.

If you go to Settings -> Gameplay, there is a nudity censor you can toggle. I haven't found one for gore though.

One nice feature I found in character creation is that while it has a genitalia selection, one of the choices basically keeps that part of you covered.

That said, many of the in-game billboards and signage are gory or blatantly sexual.

I don't think it's possible to remove sex scenes but there is a mod that reduces gore

He doesn't own the game. People can post on discussion boards to games they don't own.

The obvious answer to your obvious question is because the OP is interested in the game for the gameplay, story or content outside of the violence/gore and sexual content. Even if you like a game overall, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to like every single aspect or feature in said game.

And no the OP has not yet purchased the game as of writing this post, at least not on Steam. This very post demonstrates that they have done their due diligence prior to purchasing the game.
I know back when I first played the game, I was surprised to find that there were sex scenes I couldn't skip. I don't know if that's changed at any point with all the updates since then, as I never initiated another romantic interlude to that degree lol. You can filter the nudity entirety, if you want to. And as mentioned above, there's a mod for reduced gore. But I don't know if you can skip or avoid sex scenes once they're initiated. You can, of course, simply never initiate them. (At least I've managed to avoid them since.)

This is a very wrong game to play expecting to avoid blood and sex references. The whole Cyberpunk genre is literally founded around those, on how the world goes to heck when humans can play as gods and do the most hecked up things they want with nothing able to stop them.

No, it's an 18+ game and supposed to be Played by adults only.

It gets restricted for a reason, and also less range for a reason.
Even a completly censored CP 2077 might still be inappropriate for children.

There's sex, drugs, and violence in the game, also, prophanity words
You can censor everything without destroying the game.

I mean, you can still label a video as 18+ on YT, but either need to accept a lower range, or giving your followers some free content, or simply try another game.

yeah, i know. but i've seen folks on there talk about how they get 'age restricted' and stuff, so i assume it also cuts your views from adult's sometimes too.
the blood/gore/sex images themselves can affect whether or not your channel is allowed to monetise the vid also.
(seen them go grayscale to keep monetisation on stuff like space marine 2 as an example, every time someone uses a chainsword)

above vid had just gameplay with no sound as the maker was talking over it and he said he had to go to grayscale so YouTube wouldn't cut his monetisation.
i dont know the exact rules, and what levels can and can't be monetised, what filter settings ect.

Is there a reason you want to turn off blood and sex? I feel like it is necessary in this game for presenting a world that has fallen into moral decay. Sex and violence is tightly woven into all aspects of Night City and is a major theme of the game. Example, braindances.

It would be pretty hard to censor everything adult, and if you do, you kind of strip away the the impact of the world.

Thanks everyone, ill probably get some of the mods when i end up getting the game, appreciate the help.

Definitely i agree, but when they reach an extreme it honestly makes me uncomfortable. I much rather enjoy the game without unnecessary sex scenes.
