No playing Braindance in free roam?

Been playing the game since last month, just found out you can't actually play braindance outside of missions even though you can buy them from stores.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Alas, no. This and self-driving taxis (there's a mod for the latter, though, and there may be for BD's too though I haven't looked since I generally play vanilla) are among the only remaining things I wish we could do in the game that we can't lol.

Not to rehash this, but maybe if launch had been different we could have seen some DLC featuring more playable BD's. I woulda loved that.

Some of the mods out there are so well done they might as well be official DLC. Lizzie's Braindances come to mind. It offers a seamless braindance experience with hundreds of different options. Many well ... err of an adult nature, but just as many that are not. Ways to filter out the "adult" things too if desired from the mod.

as cool as it would be its the type of feature that is on par with programming and creating the art for TV shows in a game... games do it when they have time but its always last on the list because its just a cool thing and not a needed thing.... and considering the feature creep in cyberpunk BEFORE stuff hit the fan in development its honestly no surprise they never got to it. Even now that the game is done there would be 100 things ahead of random playable BDs.

But yeah from how it is presented in game I assume playable BD's were probably planned at some point but never had the time or manpower to actually make it happen with everything else on the table.
