Over the Edge not starting

HI all,

I have a bit of a problem, I have one side quest left outside of the PL stuff in my save, which is the Over the Edge quest for David's jacket, but I cant start it. When I go to the bin with the wreath, I cant scan it, I cant pick it up, nothing. Tried looking online a bit for this but couldnt find anything, only that reyes doesnt message within a day often. Anyone else run into this problem??

Dont know if it matters, but I do have all gigs with Reyes done and he is also no longer visitable in game. Can still call him
I already verified and repaired game files, also reinstalled the entire thing. Didnt help sadly.

How to start OVER THE EDGE

Hello,

I am currently under the Megablck H4 and i am looking at the green graffiti and the Braindance next to it but i can t pick it up. I am sure i never did the quest before and i can t find in internet the way to start the quest.

Any help ?

did you find out what was the problem ?

What makes you think you can't pick it up? Because there's no indicator telling you to do so? Sometimes the game can glitch and such indicators become invisible, but that doesn't mean you can't pick up items.

What often works for me is pressing the tab key to force scan mode.
