Any side missions really. I was doing side missions in the badlands and Pacifica when it caught up.
Had like 3 different fixers call me and it unbugged and finally unlocked
Not sure if this is anything, but I've periodically been checking the map every time I do a mission to see if anything pops up in Watson.
Well, I just did the "Violence" gig for Lizzy Wizzy. Just left the club after breaking the news to her and happened to check the map. and there was one of those blue Skull icons for suspected gang activity which wasn't there before.
Just to try and give you folks some makeshift coordinates... It is located North East of the Martin St fast travel point. And almost Due South of the Offshore St fast travel point. And almost Due West of the Longshore North fast travel point. And Due North of the Kabuki Market fast travel point.
(Edit) I'm writing this post as I do this encounter. It appears this encounter takes place at the "Clean Cut" building. I recall having done something here before this NCPD SUSPECTED ORGANIZED CRIME spot opened up. It was one of those yellow exclamation point gigs.
(Another edit) Ahh, after reading from the computer inside, it was the gig where the Maelstrom were forcing someones sister to be their ripperdoc. It's that one where you encounter the sister chick in the back trying to save one of them and you have to help her or not help her save him before escorting her out. It was called "Hippocratic Oath."
Mayhaps going to that area will help some of you discover it, if completing this gig doesn't do the trick.
I am about 90% sure it wasn't there before I took this "Violence" mission and completed it. Cuz I had just been in the area shopping around for Ripperdoc joints to visit and buy stuff. I would've noticed it.
Another thing of note, is that I had cleared the entire Watson area of gigs/missions/etc.. then received this "Violence" gig via text not long after finishing up visiting with Takemura at the hotel outside of Night City after our little parade float mission. This "Violence" gig appeared within the Watson grid. So maybe there's something to that. Finishing this gig inside Watson may have opened up another Watson NCPD crime spot thing.
Complete all your NCPD scanner hustles. At least one of those starts in watson but ends outside. .
I've completed all gigs, and got rewards from all fixers.
In the event that something doesn't trigger you need to check your messages. Sometimes missions require that you "report back" and they can stall if you don't.
Don't bother with NCPD: check your journal, in specific: the selection of side missions and gigs. Also check your messages.
It is the quest where you have to get the footage of Maelstrom initiation. If you don't get that call, then you don't get the achievement. It is likely a bug because you are not asked to finish the quest silently.
Yeah she can be really slow to reply to that one. I've never not had it complete though and I've done it 20+ times a mix of loud and stealthily.
