BUG WARNING: Neoprene Diving Suit completely breaks Inventory System.

I discovered a bugged item that if equipped locks your entire inventory down, so that no clothing/Gear can be equipped and or unequipped, and if you haven't saved recently, and didn't know about this bug, it could cost you several hours of play time, as the only solution I have found is loading a save prior to equipping the item, which could have been hours before. (4 for me)

The item is the Neoprene Diving Suit (From Judy)
It is found at the Abandoned Lake Dwelling, in the Badlands.
It is located on the patio table on the dock, in a cardboard box.

If you equip this Diving Suit it is considered a Special Item(Clothing Set) and covers all your currently equipped items. It is equipped in the Clothing Set Slot.

If you equip it, it locks all your clothing slots and you cannot remove them. (This is expected behavior) however you are supposed to be able to unequip the special clothing set slot at will. This one will not let you remove it. EVER.

If I try to unequip the Diving Suit, you will get a message in blue at the top of your screen saying "ACTION BLOCKED"

This has the affect of:

Never being able to swap gear on your character again.(Game Breaking/Stoppage)
Never being able to disassemble any clothing items. (Game Breaking/Stoppage)
Never being able to craft of upgrade any clothing item (Game Breaking/Stoppage)
Never being able to remove the Clothing Set, (stuck in a Diving Suit for the rest of the game)
It also turned my character bald for some reason.
It placed two items in my inventory labeled as "Unreadable", they are both black squares.


Before anyone asks:

No the item cannot be disassembled.
No it cannot be sold.
No it cannot be swapped/unequipped.
No it not be changed or upgraded in anyway via crafting.
No it cannot be dropped from inventory/backpack.

Just trying to make everyone aware. I was trying to put it on to cover my shame because my gear looks like I am part homeless person, part Rodeo clown with a mixture of 80's punk rock and Madonna tossed in.

This is not fixable by reloading your save or restarting your game.
You must have a save prior to equipping the Item to resolve the issue.

Now I have to go play the last 4 hours over again....

Use your middle mouse button to remove it.

Problem solved.

I had the same issue at first, until I realize it didn't click on and off like other gear.

nope that doesnt work if you pick up the suit when youre not having the related mission your ♥♥♥♥♥♥. you need to relaod an older save you cannot take it off anymore.

ok where is the problem?
same goes for the netrunner gear you can get from the pacifica gang.
just unequip that item, change whatever you want, equip it back for the looks.

or just go the backpack and equip whatever item you want there.

Had the same problem and only way to get rid of this, is solve the judy quest. Middle mouse button dont work. BUT, you can change your clothings when you go inventory -> backpack and right click(i think) on an item you want to change.
