Phantom Liberty price tag
Would you say it is worth buying the DLC at the full price of 30 Euros or wait for a spring sale?
Was it discounted during the christmas? I cant remember as I was taking a break from gaming
Really enjoying the game so far... loving it all but scared that i wont have much to do as I approach the Meet Hanako final quest..

thank you

SteamDB isn't showing any price change since release.

I thought the expansion was superb. It will still work fine after you've reached an ending though - the game has a save point before you meet Hanako (point of no return) - and the expansion's opening quest will trigger from there just fine.

Sure you should buy it at full price if you're invested in the game or the people that made it.

If you're currently playing the game and nearing the end, you'll have more to see and do.

If you aren't in a rush, then hold out for a sale, the world will keep spinning.

Hi,

The DLC was not discounted during Christmas. I remember that the base game was 40% percent off before DLC launch (normally 50%). And during Christmas there only was a little discount when you buoght the base game with the DLC but the DLC alone stayed 30 bucks. I know this because I did not want to spent 30 for a dlc. Friends bought me the DLC for my birthday :)

I have mixed feeling about my advice for you. Price wise I would say wait, because 30 bucks is a lot. But at the other hand I would say to buy it asap as the DLC is a part of the story with Johhny and not like a entire new adventure or something.

You also should think about how your gonna play the game. I played a new game because I had finished the game a year ago and I wanted to play it again. I had to play for hours again before I could start the Phantom liberty mission. Then I had a tough beginning since my weapons were ♥♥♥♥ at that moment. A friend recommended to keep on playing as I almost had the opportunity to leave Dogtown and return to Nightcity so I could play some missions/jobs/gigs so I could make money to upgrade my gear a bit.

Good luck with your choice.

The DLC was discounter by 15%.

From my receipt on Steam.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty - $25.49
Subtotal $25.49
Discount -$4.50 ( -15%)
Total $25.49

I owned the base game since release. I wouldn't have purchased the DLC with out a discount.

SteamDB shows a discount as well.

It is up to you, if it is worth it or not. I can't really say as I still haven't beaten the main game yet. I keep getting distracted by other things and leaving it for a long time, then coming back and starting over.

If you enjoyed the main game and wanted more, then it may be worth it for you, even at full price. I doubt it will go on sale by the time you are finish, so if you want to extend your game play, then go for it.

I'm in the same boat. Want to see the rest of DLC but I paid $30 for the base game. Don't wanna pay the same for the damn DLC.

Just to be clear it's not DLC. It's an EXPANSION.

YES! It is worth it. The Phantom Liberty expansion adds so much new content to the game and the devs have created one of the best gaming expansions I've ever played. Don't be a skank, just buy the damn thing

I thought it was worth it. And $30 is pretty normal for this size of a DLC/'expansion'. /shrug
