Joysticks not working in remote play since 2.1

Ever since the 2.1 update the joystick movement from my controller is not recognized in remote play. It works fine in other games, which makes it confusing. The joysticks also work fine in cyberpunk when I plug it directly into my PC. So it only occurs when playing through remote play.

The controller is an 8BitDo Ultimate controller that's hooked up to the streaming device through USB.

Does this happen to you guys as well?

I am streaming the game from my PC to my Steam Deck which is hooked up to the TV.

I didn't figure out the issue but I have figured out how to contact support and I sent them a message regarding the issue. Could you guys also sent them a message?

Having the same issue. Sent them a message with the link you sent hopefully they get it fixed soon or at least someone can find a solution

Same issue here - playing remotely on the Steam Deck using a bluetooth Xbox controller connected to the Steam deck. Used to work just fine, but now it won't detect the joysticks.

Meanwhile I've tried a multitude of different controllers but the same thing happens.

I have tried:
2 8BitDo Ultimate controllers connected through USB. Recognized within SteamOS as Xbox controllers

A Nintendo Switch Pro Controller connected through USB. Recognized within SteamOS as a Switch Pro Controller.

A PS4 controller connected through Bluetooth. Recognized within SteamOS as a PlayStation controller

Can confirm, I have the same issue with my Xbox series x controller connected via Bluetooth to my steam deck. Everything else works perfectly, only for cyberpunk with remote play the sticks are not working.

Same thing. Tried different dead zone settings, disabling steam input etc. no joy.
My instance is on the Epic store, but I'm launching through steam.

Same, the left <->Right works for both sticks, but only in that 2d axis

I have tried this, it worked for me for a minute and then broke again..

On a positive note. CD Project Red's support team replied back to me that they'll start collecting data on this issue. I hope it'll be resolved with the next patch but fingers crossed..

Playing remote play steam link from my pc to steam deck oled and having this same exact joystick issues. I tried everything recommended I could find online and tested my steam deck’s joysticks, they work perfectly fine.

Hope they fix this in an update because game looks awesome on the SD oled when streamed.

Adding to this thread for visibility. Tried my ds5, Xbox, and the native steam deck joycons. None of them work while using remote play on Cyberpunk 2077, but work perfectly on any other game.
