Controller doesn't work after 2.1

Title: My controller won't move forward or backwards or look around. I can only move side to side.

Same. My Xbox controller on pc is only good on horizontal, not vertical axis. Can't go forward or backward. Too bad....

I've got nothing from either joystick on the controller. First boot after the update I had drift so restarted the game and the machine; now I've got nothing. Adjusting dead zones does nothing.

So effing annoying.

It's also glitchy on startup - it hangs up longer it's not gonna boot, then it kicks in and boots as normal. Obviously that's not a problem, but maybe has something to do with it?

ok guys I found a fix for my case, since it only happening in the PC and not the laptop, so I went on and unplugged all the usbs (for the mouse, keyboard, other controllers...etc) to find the culprit, in the end it was my other controller dongle. Once I unplugged that it worked! I guess the game wont function normally with two controllers plugged into the PC.

1st thing I tried was unplugging other controllers. only thing it helped was drift less. still no vertical movement on either stick, still had to set deadzone to about 8.1. not a fix or even a usable workaround.

Same here. Just bought the game. Vertical axis not working on Elite Series 2. No USB dongles connected at all. A bummer.

I fixed it by going to the game settings from the steam library, then properties > controller > choosing "disable steam input"

This was the solution! Thank you! I unplugged my first controller to play wirelessly and I figured while I'm playing on this one, I might as well charge my second. So I plugged in my second Xbox controller to the USB-C and fired up Cyberpunk. Both analogs stopped working.

I came here looking for a solution and Axous had it. It didn't like my one controller wireless and the other plugged in a lit up. I unplugged it from charging and I fired up the game again and it's back to normal.

Disable steam input. If your xbox controller is not vibrating in game, try update driver from xbox accessories.
