Phantom liberty on an existing save

I am trying to start Phantom Liberty on my existing save and Idk what I'm supposed to do anyone know if I'm supposed to go anywhere I've looked online and haven't found anything for an existing save only a new save.

The devs suggest starting the DLC on a fresh save. Would highly recommend doing that plus they added a ton to the base game so it should be a pretty fun experience replaying some of act 1 or you can skip straight to the dlc.

I also recommend starting on a new save, I don't think they've tested older saves very well. I had all kinds of stupid bugs when I tried. Restarting from scratch seems to reduce most of the glitches.

I still see bugs all the time though, kinda annoying, but I'm invested now.

While they recommend doing a new game I actually started experimenting and honestly... it's perfectly doable.

The game will have reset all your abilities so that you can re-distribute them, but I also strongly suggest that you do the same thing with your perks. Next Vic will also give you a call about upgraded chrome: some of your implants will now behave in a different way.

I recall having an implant which allowed me to hover a bit in the air after a jump but this no longer seems to work. BUT... you can now upgrade your chrome at a ripperdoc to go beyond tier 5 making them very very lethal.

Just make sure you read up on what you're doing and what you want out of all this.

But yah, it's my experience that this is very well doable.
