this games opimization is garbage
RTX 4070
I9 11900KF
32 gigs of ram
not on a constant 60 FPS
everything on ultra, DLSS on
Ray tracing off.

refunded, imagine making a game with such a garbage optimization. on some areas i hit 90, on some 40-57.

Ryzen 5 3600x
Sapphire 6700xt 12 gb card
16 gb of ram

Graphics setting on ultra at 1080p, no raytrace, frame rates never drop below 60 fps.

This is either bait or you're playing on an HDD.

In no universe should Cyberpunk run on anything short of 120 fps with those specs, with RT off unless you're running it at 4 or 8k in which case well, tough luck GPUs aren't there yet.

system 1:
5950x
128gb DDR4
3060 Ti
Ultra settings
DLSS = Performance
RTX off
4k resolution
Never drop below 60

system 2:
3700x
32gb DDR4
1660 Super 6gb
Med-HIgh settings
1080p
never drop below 60 FPS.

Pretty sure it's not the games' problem.

literarly all games nowadays are badly optimized for the 30xx and 40xx series.
i have a nvidia rtx 2060 super and i play with about 60~80 fps. granted, i play without raytracing stuff but at the moment is raytracing a bit bugged and does not look nice (they did something wrong with the raytracing pathing etc. which i think gets fixxed with 2.01).

and well, with 2.01 comes aswell a stability patch for PC ... so, maybe ya refunded it a biiit to early. i mean ya can rebuy it if the sale is still going and test it again when 2.01 comes out.

Ah, we've been lacking on the "this game is poorly optimized" threads by people that have zero clue what optimizing a game really is.

Given how well this game scales proportionally across various hardware and resolutions after all the updates to it, it's one of the better optimized games in the last few years. Far better than anything released this year, and significantly better than nearly anything running UE4.

Or would you rather they start lowering texture resolution, decrease Level of Detail further, remove lighting and shadow passes, etc to make the game look worse to suit your needs, OP?.

Betting OP is playing at 1080p output resolution and bottlenecking their CPU even harder by using DLSS, then blaming the game for it.

Edit:
Using the same settings as before the DLC update, vol fog/clouds medium, SSR one tick from highest, medium crowd density, everything else maxed out...

That's an improvement over performance for me prior to the DLC launch. Given that a 4070 is about on par with a 3080 performance wise, you should be getting better with RT off (and the option to use frame gen).

it is not bait and it's the games problem. It's optimization is just garbage. I'm playing on an SSD. and yeah i refunded it becuase of the lack of opimization.

I have similar specs to you. I also hate the fact that I have to play with frame gen on if I want to get stable and good frame rates, and have all the bells and whistles turned on ultra/psycho including ray tracing. I play on a 2560x1440 display, and my 4090 is in the top 5% of 4090s in terms of stress test performance benchmark software. This is the only game that I feel like my best choice is to turn on frame gen. I still think the game looks beautiful and honestly I don't notice frame gen at all. So whatever.

What I think so many of the other commentators are not realizing is that I bet you have the ray tracing turned all the way up and you are possibly playing in 4k.
