Now that FSR 3 is out be cool if someone could mod it in for us that don't have 40 series for frame generation
title.

I have a 3080 and just tried Forspoken with FSR 3 frame generation and its really cool that we can use it and I was getting 170+fps at the starting open area and around 111fps in a region that is pretty taxing. I hope someone mods it for CP2077 and Starfield, be a game changer if we could at least experience 100+ fps that way.

No need to mod it, Cyberpunk had been announced as one of the first titles with FSR 3 support. It'll probably arrive with the next patch.

nice, i was saying mod it to hold some of us off till its officially released. I would assume a modder could get it done quick and dirty like the SF upscaler mods.

It's looking interesting for sure. Hopefully see it in game in one form or another soon. Especially for those with GPUs who need it. (*side eyes to my 3080ti*)

Crossing fingers the official implementation will be at least decent for artifacts and some of the other issues (eg frame pacing and stutters) I've seen raised with how it is in Forspoken.

sucks it doesnt work with DLSS Upscaler and Reflex, FSR Upscaler still looks horrible, i think ill just start saving up for a 4070ti/4080 now

I rather have Frame Gen for every dx11 and d12 games on the market. Nvidia is not offering that.

Radeon 7000 owners can enable frame generation today in 2077.

Enjoy

im honestly just going to thug it out till the 50 series for a 5090. Sucks my 3080 was a huge leap from my 1080, but now feels like games are starting to really bring it down to its knees.

And until then just enable frame gen with FSR 3.0 and enjoy the feature which should have been available since the launch of the 4000 series.

There is an option called Low Latency Mode in the Driver which you can set on ULTRA.

Path tracing is now an option for you when it is patched in congratulations!

what do you mean enjoy FSR 3 if its not in cp2077 currently? you mean for the time being when it officially launches and till I get a 40 series?

Do you mean Nvidia reflex low latency, wasn't that always an option?

Im not using AMD gpu software, i have a 3080 and use nvidia control panel.

Anybody without a 7000 series AMD card won't be able to use anti lag+, rendering FSR3 useless.

If i want to play with the latency and input lag of 15 fps, i just play at 15 fps. Nvidias reflex kicks in if you turn on FG, only reason latency keeps in check.

AMD releasing the thing on TWO flop games that literally killed their devs and NOT on their SPONSORED todd howard game: StarField or the latest hotness that is Cyberpunk 2077 PL is peak comedy.

and they wonder why Nvidia has 85% GPU market share.

PS5 and XBOX Series X Have AMD Hardware. And the Radeon Cards are currently selling out while Nvidia is not.

I would look forward instead of focusing on the current percentages. Things are changing rapidly.

FSR 3.0 is still not on level of DLSS 2.0. I am not entirely sure why you would use it over DLSS if you have the option.

Otherwise if there will be no official support it should be fairly easy to inject as a replacer for FSR 2.0

Q2 of 2023 saw Nvidia market share increase rather than the other way around, and Intel is eating away at AMDs cake. If their upcoming battlemage is a good generational product AMD can wave their 17% share goodbye.

Consoles dictate nothing in terms of PC hardware, people are not adopting AMD because of FSR 3, 5 or 17. There are side by side comparisons already made with FSR3 vs DLSS3 and one continues to be chock full of shimering and ghosting while the other has non of the issues and half the latency.

You can't keep releasing nothing tier tech on the basis "at least it works everywhere" and expect to take on, well anyone, even Intels XeSS 1.2 update surpasses FSR3 in terms of quality.

FSR looks good in quality mode with 4k though. And it is the only option if you want Path tracing enabled on RTX 3000 series because of Frame Generation.
