RTX 3070 with Path Tracing enabled [1920x1080] 30~48fps.
5800x3D

highest settings, pt ON
37.81fps in benchmark... not a single stutter not even a tiny one. Perfect sync and frametime.
Goes above 50 outside, ps 1440p dlssp
*Hopefully this will end much of the talk about vram, and help people learn that bandwidth is much more important.
40+fps is fine, falls in my monitors VRR window.
It's not a fast paced game, so 60+ isn't needed IMO.
Your milage may vary.
I have a 3080ti.
I can turn it on and it looks legit, but I do not get that same warning. I am going to snap some pictures and I'll share this later to see if we can actually find out if there's a difference.
I have 3080 ti.
With psycho and ultra everything, and yes pathtracing, I can get between 65 and 95 fps, realisitically, it falls between 70-85, and this is with DLSS at quality at 1440.
Maybe it's your CPU bottleneck, but I wouldn't have expected such a gap.
Without DLSS, i run at 30 fps.
Anything you think could cause this? What's your CPU?
3080ti, 1440p, 980 pro Nvme - note the ageing CPU (5600x @4.7ghz) and other weak point currently of only 16gb RAM (fast as it is).
Settings are maxed out but using DLSS.
