Other guy i just try to say the depth of the main story he missed.
It’s reductionism, plain and simple. You can make virtually just about anything sound boring and cliche if you use the “right” words:
“da Vinci’s Mona Lisa is just a portrait of some random renaissance woman.”
“Michelangelo’s David is just a hunk of centuries old marble depicting a naked white guy.”
“The moon landing was just some middle aged dude walking on a barren, lifeless rock.”
If I’m going to be honest, it’s not even worth acknowledging these “arguments” as they’re deliberately designed to be disingenuous at best.
