Why din't dev's put out the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners right before the DLC?
I am just asking.Had no problem with the game when played, guess i was one of the lucky ones.People still praise the anime and like stats say it was one of the best reemergence of playing the game and new players buying the game seems like a missed opportunity.

My reaction pretty much. Cp77 had a lot of interesting side story, the side story is good, the main one is crap. The main story is rushed, dont even make any sense unless you are some Keanu simp. For me his character come out as very annoying throughout the game.

How are you missing the point "Why" the Johnny character is annoying.Spoilers aheadHe has been trapped in a virtual hell for more then 100 years, and now he have a chance to escape and live again. But as he gets to know you as a character and see you are kindred (Rebel) spirit he is helpful more then annoying. What kind of game play did you play.

Sounds like someone didn't pay much attention or just skipped everything.
Not sure where you got 100 years from though, Johnny died in 2023, and the game is set in 2077

You are still missing the point. And focusing on irrelevant points.Johnny was imprisoned in virtual hell,It felt for him like a millennia. No concept of time or space,he just suffer.Like knowing 100 years compared to 50 years he spent in virtual hell Did you play the game more then once.If you did you would have more appreciation for the story more then what color is the car or some thing insignificant.

Think you might be replying to the wrong person there.
I sometimes feel like the only person who unironically loved both the game and the anime.

To you applies, you focus on the exact actual years instead of how for him felt in VR.
Other guy i just try to say the depth of the main story he missed.

Anime is literally a kid with no father figure, troubled at school, mother dies, joins gang because of horny for girl, finds father figure in gang banger leader. Gang bang leader dies doing gang bang ♥♥♥♥, traumatize, Goes on and killed a bunch of dudes. Don't care about ♥♥♥♥♥ anymore cause hit it already. Self destruct has higher than normal tolerance for gear and trauma. Dies because of Main character syndrome.

Plays *I wanna stay at your house tonight*

People: "Omg so sad, why did the murderer has to die and leave pretty girl alone"
any show can be dumed down. those points make it just as good as it dose cliche.

It’s reductionism, plain and simple. You can make virtually just about anything sound boring and cliche if you use the “right” words:

“da Vinci’s Mona Lisa is just a portrait of some random renaissance woman.”

“Michelangelo’s David is just a hunk of centuries old marble depicting a naked white guy.”

“The moon landing was just some middle aged dude walking on a barren, lifeless rock.”

If I’m going to be honest, it’s not even worth acknowledging these “arguments” as they’re deliberately designed to be disingenuous at best.

They also did something unique in the Anime I never saw before. Curious what other people thought the reasons behind it was. When they had moments where characters would stutter. I'm thinking they did that to make the dialogue feel more authentic. Seeing how dialogue for movies and shows are always so spot on. Like everyone says there sentences perfectly all the time. While only going for dramatic pauses and changes tones. When in real life people lose there train of though and can slip up. If that is what was intended to illustrate that point that is pretty creative.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners did not invent stuttering in animes. It's a common staple.

You're... joking, right? Characters stuttering during line of dialogue is a norm in anime. It happened in Dragon Ball Z for laughing out loud. xD You don't sound like you watched a lot of anime. Unless you watched it dubbed.

Think you guys are thinking of scared or nervous characters. I'm talking about characters that already appear composed and relaxed. That is what I have never seen before in any Anime. When not going through any emotional crisis and just doing it naturally in the conversation.
