Up To Date Leveling Guides?
I've been looking at videos talking about how to level up skills and street cred very fast, but for some reason, the amount of XP I'm getting is drastically reduced from the amount of XP shown in the videos. Yes, I'm playing on Very Hard difficulty to get the most XP possible.

But when I try to hack cameras, I'm only getting about 175 XP, where as people showing off the method videos were getting around 400 something. Likewise, the people showing kill feed runs were taking out entire gangs with just a couple of grenades, where as my own grenades aren't inflicting nearly as much damage.

Did these methods get nerfed / patched? And if so, can somebody provide an actually effective method for how to level up very fast?

My main focus is trying to get character levels so that I can increase my stats (and thus my skill caps). But it seems like the only way to do that is to go on a killing spree, because I don't seem to get any XP for using my skills after they've reached the same level as the stats they're connected to.

(In other words, I can't just craft a ♥♥♥♥ ton of items to level up my character XP)

Afaik the fastest and most consistent xp is to grind out mobs in Pacifica. You get less xp as you get higher lvls so maybe that's why it's different from videos. There aren't any good cyberpunk guide channels on YouTube, most are clickbait. Reddit has the best tips.
Yeah some of the old farms were patched out. This one works.

If you're gonna glitch, just get a savegame editor. Get yourself what you would like to use on your play-through and go to town.
It's not really a glitch since the game is working properly.

Fastest way to level is still missions, main missions, side-missions, then gigs, NCPD hustles.
I'm also not sure if the XP reduction has been patched? I just tried a run on both Easy and Very Hard mode, and I was getting 163 Quickhack XP on both options.

Yeah they have to make up for the fact that it takes longer to go to a mission than it does to do the mission.
Since 1.6 there are some mobs that seem stuck at lvl1 instead of scaling up (= less xp & low $ drops).

For example the farming spot in Pacifia west of the Beatty Hotel (vendor hub).
You go west down the road and down the stairs to the beach.
There are 3 guys standing, 3 watching tv on a couch, like 6 around a party truck, 3 shooting cans with pistols and 2 (rarely 3) guys playing checkers at a table.
The guys playing checkers look like valentinos and are always level 1.
(there are also 3 voodoo boys on the nearby beach house, 3 more mobs by the car to the south, run south under the dock past the dumpster to reset, then repeat.)
(This is the best place for cold blood xp since you can keep it up between resets with the lose 1 at a time perk.)

For skill xp, stealth damage gives ninjutsu xp instead of whatever weapon type you used.
Shooting through walls with tech weapons gives some engineering xp instead.
Using legendary short circuit passive may give quickhack xp reducing weapon skill xp.
(I had 4 Int on my 100% crit build, so quickhack maxed in like 5sec...)
Grenade damage scales with level. At level 50 white grenades are like 5k damage.

Alright, now about cyberpsychos...

Did they get buffed or something? I was told the easiest way to take them out non-lethally was to use System Reset. But the last two times I tried to use it, it said they were immune to that quick hack.

So I was forced to try and jimmy around behind them undetected, so I could grab and strangle them. It's ridiculously hard, not to mention buggy. The netrunner down by the beach (with the robots) was able to walk through walls, and would glitch out the fight by trapping me inside his hide out. I had to lure him outside and keep spamming quick hacks and gas grenades until he finally passed out, while simultaneously fending off the angry gangsters on the roof.
Get a sub machine gun or a sniper rifle. On the one near the beach I go inside, hide, snipe the robots then him. I always manage to leave him alive and rarely lose more than 20% of my health. This is on hard level

They made cyberpsychos immune to system reset because that made the whole quest a joke.
(They also made legendary ping not let you hack through walls any more because it made the entire game a joke.)

When I had to fight one while super under-leveled I did double grenade tosses (throw 1, throw a 2nd that goes off when the 1st explodes) to make them flop around like a fish out of water until they ran out of health...

For non-lethal vs cyberpsychos just don't hit them after downing them and don't hit the head for the last hit (they seem to almost always be knocked out as long as you don't damage them after they go down).

How long ago was this change implemented? Because the description for Legendary Ping still says you can hack through walls.

Huh? You can literally fast travel from almost anywhere to anywhere else

True, however
1. A lot of people don't like to fast travel
2. Walking from a fast travel point to a mission still takes longer than the mission most of the time. Except maybe the ones that are full of talking. Which is another thing that takes up time.

You can still hack DEVICES through walls, but not enemies.
You used to be able to hack enemies through walls with it.
I think that changed in 1.2?
There was some mod that reverted that change, I don't know if it is still around/up to date.
