Mod Blueprints?
Alright, I am desperately trying to find ways to improve my gear, but all the guides I've found are anywhere between 1 to 2 years out of date and no longer relevant to the current build of the game.

Specifically, I am trying to find blueprints for mods, particularly in regards to Armor and Melee weapons. I managed to obtain the legendary blueprints for Armadillo and Resist (for Armor), as well as the three main firearms mods (Damage, Crit Damage, Crit Chance).

But as for melee weapons, I have not found any blueprints for them, and the only store I've come across that actually sells the mods is the boxing coach near V's first apartment. Unfortunately, he only sells them up to Epic quality. I want to craft some of my own, but I can't do that without the blueprint schematics.

I believe you can now only find them randomly, in boxes out in the world. So all those guides telling you exactly where to find XYZ mod are no longer valid.
Read all the shards you find in NCPD missions (maybe also gigs?) (just press z and c, if you dont want to actually read them) and they sometimes lead you to a special loot area. But you'll also find some of the loot boxes out randomly during a mission, especially behind closed doors that require technical/body to open.

I've yet to find a melee weapon mod period. I have a Legendary Dildo Club, 3 mod slots, all empty. Didn't find any muzzle brakes until I was around level 30 as well.

Melee weapons sellers have some.

In my current 360 hour playthrough these are all the mod crafting specs I found:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2880575734

And I constantly keep coming across the exact same ones, therefore I believe this is everything that is available to the player. Not a single weapon mod, a couple of clothing mods and some gun mods.

I personally do not like this, as the whole point of why I went Tech is to craft things instead of having to find them or buy them. So either this is a bug or they implemented crafting specs for only a few specific mods.

God friggin damn it!

Who's idea was it to patch Cyberpunk to be this absurdly frustrating? Can't buy clothing schematics, can't mod schematics, the special grenade schematics aren't in the spawn locations I was told about.

They even nerfed some of the grinding areas by removing how many enemies are stationed nearby.

I believe there is Kunai (attack speed, the most usefull) mod, crit chance mod (almost useless for Melee even on Hard), crit damage (same as previous mod), and damage mod (second most usefull). do you have something else among this?

Melee weapons sellers have some.

No they don't. The only melee shop in the entire game that I've found who carries them is Coach Fred by V's apartment.

Relax......they do. Just wait 24 hours and reset the store if its not there the first time. There's no penalty for doing this.

Best muzzle breaks come from Wilson after the side quest Shoot to Thrill.

And I get most of my Clothing mod blueprints from gigs, NCPD missions in Watson.

it should be quite easy, install the .lua scripting thing, CET.... it's literally a two-liner... it's a little bit of overhead because it's a monitor script it is running constantly and triggers every single time you pick up something.... you can have it give you blueprints for every single weapon, item, clothing that exists... don't make it check if you already have it, dupes of blueprints are pointless and shouldn't matter, you want it to run quickly and now chew up clock...

but my gawd. In v1.6, that's very very greedy with VRAM in the menus, you better have a 8G VRAM GPU minimum, 12-16G much better, because it'll paginate for days if you do this.

You can make it more "thematic" if you want, like every 10 weapons you disassemble you "learn" that blueprint, but would add even more overhead, you'll have to have a temp variable in the database for every single weapon and a counter placeholder to keep track of how many you've disassembled, and clear it afterwards. Not that difficult as scripts go, but if you get your if/then loop in nested check or in the wrong place you can really bog down processing. (I'll assume you have or want to have other mods already.)

There's got to be a CET script like this already; it's got to be one of the most requested things, I don't like the fact I can't craft everything! etc.

Happy coding! :moxes:

Yeah I had to use that mod to get the blueprints, still some things are missing from the big spreadsheet thing but it works well enough. Just wish I didn't have to go outside the game and cheat things in that you used to be able to just get in earlier versions.
