I did, is it worth it? Ehhh....not really on side of postive but it will drain a lot rams. I sort of run around whole entire block of night city area where act 1 area your stuck at. More likely you have to run all over the place look for bunch gangs and stuff who might carry the "loot box" which it is sort of "fine".
The ripper in Arasaka Waterfront has it iirc. I definetly know that you can get in in chapter 1, because I have it.
It works perfectly fine. Actually it seems pretty OP.

Edit: Please remember, the goods offered change when you increase your street cred. Just because it wasn't for sale the first time you visited doesn't mean he doesn't have it
I definitely remember seeing it at a ripper doc in act 1 in the last couple days with a new playthrough.
i have one but don't remember wich ripper doc i bought it from
it seems to work pretty well enemies wont see you if you walk past them while still in stealth
Now I remember. It was Arasake Waterfront. The one in the upper-left corner, close to the harbor. I remember trying it for the first time behind his shop.
And, yes NPC don't see you. At all (might hear you though)
Only downside is: You can't aim a gun, because you can't see your own gun.
Going on a chopping spree with a katana while cloaked is outright unfair.
tbh tthis really interesting but idk

What's with all this misinformation? It is in act 1, at one of the 4 rippers... And it's really OP. Ive been sneaking around like a Ninja god with it. Combine that with the cyber mod that makes time slow down when spotted. It's amazing.
Ya the only major nerf that happened in 1.5 is Crit

My poor favriote sniper rifle was not just nerf hammered, it was nerf nuked.

Works fine for me. I dash in with sand activated. Chop up everyone. If time runs out and I still have a lot of enemies left I just turn on camo and disappear. Literally makes you play like the predator lol
It's broken AF. I can go in-between 4 people, snap 1, knife-kill 1, and shotgun the last 2 before the slow-mo mod runs out.
I found it in act 1 at one of the two ripper doctors near where you get the ping daemon
There are two versions of the Optical Camo BTW, and at least the one with the highest rarity does prevent enemies from seeing you. You can literally walk in front of someone hostile without triggering combat, so it is pretty useful for stealth missions.

Wonderful to know, I got the Purple Rarity Camo pretty early on, but even as I use it, even if standing still, everyone sees me, kind of defeats the purpose of having "Invisibility" that doesn't work

EDIT
I just tested the Legendary version of camo, not only can you literally walk in front of the enemies, I tested sprinting into them as if bumping them and they don't even react to that, and I am not using the silent running cyberware at all

Purple Rarity of camo, that camo they spot you from even far away, it's like the only camo that works is the Legendary one, as with purple on a roof top, not moving, camo they spot you even from far away which makes no sense at all either

Going from being seen no matter how invisible you are from any distance, to Legendary Camo literally running into them with no reaction at all, strange
The optical camo is really nice for a sandevistan user like me, who cant hack cameras.
