Now it's always raining in my CP
So, went to visit Roy Batty. It's a little Easter egg in the game. Anyway, I think the devs make it so regardless of what time of day or what the weather looks like; it will be night time and raining once you arrive at the roof. However, it seems like after I visited Roy the game's code flipped sunshine for rain. Now NC is truly a Cyberpunk atmospheric dream lol. Anyone wanna try this out to confirm my suspicions?

I heard of a fix for that, let me see if I can find it again...

Out of curiosity, did you take the elevator back down or jump from the top? If you jump it will always rain afaik.

hmm, found the solution I had seen previously, but it's for fog, not rain. Perhaps it will resolve your issue anyway?

- Go to the roof where the Blade Runner easter egg is located (roof of Advocet Hotel, east of city center). When you're on the roof it will start raining.
2. Save the game.
3. Reload the game. You will notice the rain is much sharper now.
4. Leave the roof (via the elevator) and go back to your apartment.
5. Sleep once
6. When you wake up the fog should be gone
7. Take the elevator and leave the building, it should be clear now.
8. Save the game and reload to make sure fog is gone

If that doesn't work, you may have to go back to the save before you went there the first time :/

Also, might be worth reporting to cdpr: https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/cyberpunk/pc/gameplay/issue/1736/i-want-to-report-a-visual-issue

Rain seems to be mission scripted, I only get after certain missions, any other time its dry

ussually reloading your latest save will stop it if the rain bothers you

It's both scripted and dynamic. Certain missions will consistently trigger it, but it can also occur completely at random in the world. (All weather, not just rain.)

There is a bug (as SeeEmilyPlay above outlines) for this mission where it can become stuck raining, and following the above steps fixes it.

But just clarifying that random weather does happen as well. I tested it.

I have seen scripted weather events, but none of them have remained permanently in my game play. For me, dynamic weather takes over eventually. This is my personal experience, anyhow.

in every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thread you are trolling around jesus christ...

Im really curious how somebody can waste so much time in a forum of a game he dislikes so much. How many comments do you have meanwhile in CP Forum? 10.000?

Especially you are even not funny with that.

Dont you see that at the end you are trolling yourself? So much time wasted for things you dislike...You dont want to play that game becuase its "garbage" and you dont waste your time? Well... i have bad news for you: you are even more useless in spamming here lmao

Thanks for the tips. I found an alternate way to fix this. Badlands never rains, fast-travel there
then ride/drive back to night city. I'll try your tip though. Sounds interesting as my rain effects
look odd at times. Wonder if this is a bug with the visual effect.
