Cyberpunk 2077 is a phenomenal game in my opinion.
My review: https://steamcommunity.com/id/OldManGamerOMG/recommended/1091500/

I played near 300 hours so far, playing both the street kid and nomad. I am waiting to play the corpo path until more content and updates come out. However, I have had an itch to just play the corpo since finishing with the other two paths.

One of the things that I find most interesting, is that I have not had these numerous bugs and issues that you see on videos and forums. The gameplay was not without issues, but all issues where very minor, except one bug which was fixed early, where I could not complete a crime event on the map.

While I do feel it is a cheap way to make choices, I like that many of the choices are hidden until you do side quests, which open them up, not so much make them an option that you get later. However, I have found 7 variations of endings, even if they play the same cinematics once you get there, which only open if you did all of the side quests to open these choices up. There might be more, but that is all that I have found so far.

While I am playing the game at the max settings, minus ray tracings, I run on a 1080 11gb GPU and have quad Ram at 64gb, running the game on a dedicated SSD just for the game. My processor is a new Intel Extreme processor as well. I do not know if this will help anyone who is having issues with the game, but perhaps these specs allow for a smoother gameplay, as I did everything I could in this game, though did fail some missions by not accepting or completing them in time on the Street Kid path, such as the crazy guy in front of the tarot shop/Vic's.

All of that said, what are some of your experiences?

There's a solid foundation here. It needs some work to complete it, it needs tuning. But if you want challenging gameplay, currently you can actually build for challenge.

A beautifully fan made video:

I have been enjoying your taking irrational comments, and putting them into logical terms. What they intend on creating conflict is illustrated as statements without any context or value to the conversation. It also helps to illuminate the kind of people that are so passionate about hating and telling others to hate the game.

The facts continue to show that the hate is without any real provocation or merit, and is simply done as their casual activities.

It's no different all the endless amounts of praise either, typically customers do not constantly rant and rave about how much they enjoyed their products,

Except that it isn't "endless amounts of praise." It's just someone who happens to fall further on the positive end of the spectrum of subjective appraisal for this game than you personally find palatable. If they were really engaged in "endless amounts of praise," they wouldn't ever have critiques of the game like these (which I posted earlier in response to the last person accusing people of "shilling" simply for sincerely liking things they do not, but which was ignored, and so I will now reiterate):

I really like that the vehicle driving was updates, as that was my number one complaint. My number 2 was the instant death pursuit of the police, which is also fixed.

I hope for a lot more from this game, which is probably unrealistic

And these excerpts from their review:

I also feel that the melee combat is a bit lacking

The driving on the keyboard is very lacking, as it is a balance of tapping and gauging how much or little your vehicle will steer.

My biggest complaint is how much of this highly detailed world seems to be locked and unavailable. So many doors are locked

My second complaint is the police, whom seem to be terrible annoying. Many times, I wish there was an option to turn them off, and is the only reason I am not playing on the hardest difficulty. There are times that I cross their view in narrow passages, and they attack me for simply passing by, such as the path up and down from the apartment of V. I am hopeful that this changes as well.

My third complaint is the number of times that I skip dialogue, because I am trying to stand up. I play the game sneaking most of the missions, and find myself skipping initial conversations, needing to reload to see what I missed.

As you can see, they've never said the game is flawless or without reasons for criticism. (And that goes for all of us who get labeled "defenders" of the game.) They simply aren't as critical as some others would like them to be, and have an overall positive opinion of the game, which they are passionate about. As is their prerogative. Unless someone is going to argue it's somehow suddenly unacceptable to be a fan of something one enjoys.

My experience was very similar to yours. Only came across minor bugs and played through two life paths. My Nomad playthrough was completed 100%. I'm about 98% done with my Corpo. The only missions I have left are finishing up Panam, River, Kerry and the Peralezes arcs.

I also have a similar PC. 2700X, 1080ti, 32GB ram, dedicated SSD, etc. Does fairly well even at 4K. Not that better FPS wouldn't be appreciated though.
Refreshing to see someone with a positive experience and be able to convey an honest subjective review.

Its a garbage game, misrepresented and falsely advertised, with broken systems, no AI or Physics and more bugs than an ant nest.

Why should we have to? Why cant CDPR "release it when it's ready" like they said they would?
Why would they lie?

4K upscaled you mean right? So 1080p?

I really like the Panam missions. While the Kerry missions start off great, they end a bit awkwardly for me. This could be due to the unrequited sexual tension he gives off.

I have about 150 hours in and enjoyed the hell out of it. Loved the story. No major bugs, no crashes. Yes, it does have a lot of annoying environmental/AI bugs, but that didn't really detract from immersing myself in the story and world.

I don't really care about the police AI everyone complains about. If I do something bad and they show up, I just kill them too. lol

Very much indeed. The story is brilliant, in my opinion. For me, a game is first great or weak based on their story. I prefer a good story to mindless gameplay.

I am counting on it, much as they did with Witcher 3. One of the few times I feel confident about what the eventual outcome will be, when considering the gaming industry.

If thats what you think, who am i to argue?
I'd love to know how asking if its 4k or upscaled is harrassing everyone, maybe i have a nice rig and at some point i want to play at 3440x1440 native without upscaling?
Maybe im unhappy that i spent $90 on a game that ran like crap on release and now im waiting for patches?

Or perhaps i'm just a forum troll, harrassing everyone if they dont agree with everything i have to say.
You choose, let me know what you decide.
I wont bother insulting you like you did me, if you check my history you'll find that unless you claim black is white, im a reasonable guy.
