Yea, but not everyone pc's are the same, so not everyone's save will load. You cannot assume everyone pc is like yours. Mine for example, is older, yet i can play game fine.
Everyone pc's are different makes and different hdd/sdd's. Dont' assume there all the same.
This could be the case. Their mods could of got broken. I don;t use mods, or modified anything. Does anyone else that has a old save use it with modification or mods and can load it?
NOTE: This happens with me on city skylines, whenever a new patch version comes out, i have to uninstall all my mods, and wait for modders to update to current patch level. Usually though i have to delete my old city though because the patch breaks old saves that are modded.
lol, so this patch is going to end up being 35GB?
Mod related perhabs? I haven't modded my game yet (i'll wait till it's become more established) so maybe that's it? If those saves relied on mods that have been broken by the update, then you could certainly end up with this issue.
