CDPR - When AI will be able drive cars and do other things like in GTAV\RDR2?

Seriosly, how come game was released with cars driving only per scripted routes, and NPC have no ability to turn away, and all the chase scenes has fully scripted pathes, and COPs, who actually have cars, cant chase you on cars and run after you on foot and spawn 10 meters around you?

This is absolutely unacceptable and this is very broken and undeveloped game mechanics that should be patched ASAP!

So my question is - is this even going to happen? Is NPC behavior tree going to be reworked? Are they going to learn how to actually drive freely? Are cops and others will learn hot to get in car and chase you... or how to get outside of car and run away from you, how to drive faster away from you? If that so, when is this going to happend

Im not even asking about more complex AI like in GTA, RDR or any GTA like game, but this very basic thing as ability to drive, and reaction more or less realistically to situation on road is a feature that was in every GTA like game, why its no here and when it will be here in this game???

Imagine if the train system is fixed. Running away on top of a train while MaxTac shoots at you from their AVs. That would be so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome.

Wait, don't GTA drivers go by fully scripted routes either? The only ones which actually go of their route are police cars.

RDR2 dudes can't even keep up if I get my horse and take it through a dense forest or jump through rocks.

I like GTA and I LOVE RDR2 but y'all seem to be remembering them through marvelous nostalgia goggles.

Yeah the NPCs are really dumb. They feel way tooooo lifeless. More than GTA npcs. Cops just spawn around you when you do something against non enemy npcs. I've never seen any cops driving around the city. I always see them parked, at a crime scene or shooting at a gang. I never see them driving around, chasing an enemy in a car. Never come after you when you have stars. The airships or whatever you call them. Just float and fly around- i was hoping you would see them chase gang members, go after you. The damn mechs in the game are hardly seen at all. I was hoping you can hack a mech and player control it to kill or use to target friendlies to make enemies focus fire on them. While you sneak by them....ectttt

I still like cyberpunk...however game feels lifeless because ncps suck. They should had been honest on how the game will turn out if they released it now. Instead they lied and look what happened. I hope they can fix it. God speed devs

Agreed. GTA and RDR aren't the masterpieces everyone is suddenly making them out to be. Infact, GTA V is pretty awful.

The worst is CDPR don't communicate at all about this. They only plan to fix the bugs for the moment. They said "there will be new content in free DLCs", I hope they don't consider basic AI driving as new content, this is supposed to be the most basic thing in an open world.
