List the bugs YOU have witnessed
First of all; if you are about to claim you have not seen any, don't read further. You may start to notice them and ignorance is a bliss, believe me.
Also any bugs you have seen in YouTube videos doesn't count. List only the ones you have seen in your own game.
Also try to keep it spoiler free, or at least hide them.

1. Jackie walks through the cabinet
2. Typing errors on subtitles
3. Floating items here and there
4. Vehicles not colliding when they crash, instead they just clip through each other or something
5. Vehicles are partially inside the ground when they spawn
6. Flashing inventory when removing items such as consumables
7. AI drivers happily drive off the road and into railing, then steer back on the road near an Arasaka building (I cannot remember the exact spot)
8. Inventory's weapon stat window refuses to display when wearing legendary version of Kongou. Moving Kongou to Stash or dropping it on the ground fixes the problem.
9. Falling out off the map when exiting a vehicle (when the vehicle's door is partially blocked, so this might be rare for most people)
10. Car gets stuck during a race and there is no way to reset it other than loading a saved point. This might be more like a feature...
11. When exiting the game, cyberpunk.exe process wont close and task manager is needed to end it

So yeah I've had some minor and a few major annoyances but nothing that would permanently stop me from progressing. How about you?

Ok. Boatload of people claimed to never have bugs:

What is the point of this thread - report them in the bug forum ...

Why do so many people in this forum feel the need to repost every single topic 9000 times and do topics like this one that serve no purpose?

What is the point of people randomly posting each others bugs in a thread about listing bugs?

I got:
*The old Assassins Creed glitch with Jackie turning into a pair of eyeballs
*Jackie would also 'split' from his outfit like a ghost.
*T-Posing.
*I would get repeatedly yeeted into the ocean.
* I got constant mission bugs requiring multiple resets. One cyberpsycho mission I had to replay 6 times until it worked, all because Silverhand shows up to say a line via a trigger of walking a specific way to the combat zone, but I came from another direction so he never showed up, which meant after stopping the psycho it was glitched.
* After I finished it the first time I did a different choice and played another 20 minutes until a requirement to kill 20 enemies that show up bugged out because one of them got stuck inside terrain by an explosion without being marked as dead.
* UI bugs all the time particularly in comparisons of weapons.
* Had a few crashes.
* Calling a car would result in multiple cars dropping on top of each other.
* Weird collision glitches with vehicles & bodies.
* Dying from "fall damage" by dropping a few inches from a piece of terrain onto the ground.
null Dec 30, 2020 @ 7:19am
* After getting the Flathead, after Jackie left the area I called him on the phone and he teleported behind me in a sitting pose. I could hear him talk on the phone and in person.
* Random cars half way into the ground.
* V sits down with arms stretched out in front of him.
* In photo mode NPC accessories like sunglasses as well as eyes were about 2 inches in front of their faces.
* When pressing read on a shard in the world, the game would sometimes lose ability to press any keys requiring a force quit.
* The ole open pants zipper glitch.
* Johnny Silverhand would be saying something about a dead NPC and then do a 180 and look down at nothing the wrong way. (The Cyberpsycho quest near the water in Watson)
* Quick hacks randomly stop doing any damage.
* Walked over garbage and died.
* NPC's glitching into things like walls and tables.
* Hid a dead NPC in a trunk but NPC floated out the back of the car in the air.
* Hid NPC in box without looting them and the loot floated in air next to box.
* After first mission with Jackie, after he drives you home, just before you fist bump him and say bye, you sort of jump up out of the roof for a frame.
* Got stuck in a piece of a broken ceiling in building with guy who stole meds.
* Enemies spotted me through wall.
* Accidentally walked into NPC and killed them, NCPD spawn behind me with 2 police cars and a bunch of drones.
* Jackie put a gun inside my head instead of chip.
* Called my car and it arrived with no doors.
* Called my car and it ran me over.
* Found random NPC in T-Pose.

FPS capped at 20 no matter the graphic setting.
For me so far it's been:

  • Objects spawning in mid-air and then falling, causing collision and clipping issues.
  • What may or may not be a memory leak wherein extended playtime leads to steadily reduced performance which improves with saving and reloading.
  • Certain physics objects becoming entangled with random NPCs walking around, dragging those objects through the area. (Especially in the market area behind Tom's Diner.)
  • Certain meshes not spawning correctly, or spawning twice, causing animation of collision issues (e.g. two TV monitors spawning at the same time in a market kiosk, causing them both to glitch out with collision and geometry issues. Sometimes they glitch out so bad they disconnect from their mount entirely and end up embedded in other objects, causing them in turn to get moved to the wrong location, and so on.)
  • The same T-posing NPC bug others have had occasionally.
  • Rare instances of NPCs rapidly warping across areas and through objects at high speed.
  • Loot that can't be interacted with (usually due to having clipped partially through the ground or being under objects.)
  • TAA ghosting, but only in certain sequences or against certain fine grain highly detailed surfaces. (E.g., player shadow will ghost noticeably but only against certain textures Against others there's zero ghosting whatsoever. Probably something to do with details on certain textures being below a certain number of pixels causing the temporal AA to not apply properly below that.)
  • Significant dithering of volumetric smoke and fog when viewed in front of specific light sources, and especially when viewed through other thin geometry such as fence bars. This is greatly reduced by setting volumetric fog resolution to Ultra, and is less visible at higher resolutions, but still persists.
  • Screen space reflection artifacts.
  • (Controller) Press X to confirm prompt in crafting and other inventory functions such as purchasing large numbers of items from vendors, stops working and instead requires pressing the A button on the "press X to confirm" screen object. Doesn't prevent functionality but clearly not working as intended when this happens.
  • Since 1.06 I've finally started getting the same issue others have reported with extremely near LOD textures streaming in very late and very close instead of much further away like they used to, resulting in what feels like much more significant pop-in. Cannot imagine this is as intended, as it didn't happen before 1.06 and is very noticeable. (I'm talking about extremely close up pop-in of entire high quality LOD textures on things like vents, signs - with text entirely missing from signs until I'm a few feet away now - etc.)
  • There is a visual issue with ray traced lighting - not reflections or shadows, just lighting - in vehicle interiors where NPCs do not appear lit as intended and end up with unnaturally glowing eyes.
  • Opening the rear of certain vehicles has resulted in me being pushed below the map/clipping through the ground.
  • In certain interiors - notably the cave tunnel that runs beneath the mountainous area between the city and the badlands - cascade shadows and sunlight render through unintended seams in geometry, as though I were outdoors. Switching to ray traced shadows eliminates this entirely, for what it's worth.
  • I was able to destroy an otherwise unopenable barrier using grenades (unsure if this is intended or not) and gain entry into what the game said was a hostile area, but which was entirely unpopulated. A lot of lore shards and unique weapons were found in the area, so unsure if this is an easter egg or from a later quest I have yet to trigger, or an area we weren't meant to access, or what. May or may not be a bug.
  • A car once experienced a collision and physics issue launching it up into the air, landing me on a roof top lol.
  • I once had a car I summoned an hour earlier spawn indoors lol.
  • Changing max dynamic decals and Detail appears to currently have no effect whatsoever (and this has been the case since launch.) I suspect this may be related to the near-LOD issue. The settings don't appear to work as intended currently.
  • Charge on tech weapons stops working. (Fixed - for me at least - by switching mods on the weapon, or upgrading a perk having to do with charge damage or the like.)

That said, I have yet to personally encounter a quest progression bug, or a single crash, in over 80 hours of play across all builds of the game since launch.

I would urge people having issues, rather than simply debating their existence or importance, to actually submit bug reports with attached dxdiag files so these problems can actually be fixed (which they will be in due course if enough people report them.)

I died.
GORECHIMERA Dec 30, 2020 @ 8:34am
*Changing vehicle camera is sometimes unresponsive. As well as changing radio station.
*Driving over certain objects and bodies can cause the vehicle to shake frantically or flip around.
*Some enemies drop items with no icons and no descriptions. Nothing. But you can still loot those items.
*The scanner can tag near lootable items if you tap it but some items cannot be looted no matter what you do.
*You can store turret guns inside your vehicle's trunk but the icon of the gun makes me think this wasn't indented. The ammo gets refilled, too.
*If I look away from a character talking and turn back to them their lip syncing is gone.
*Vehicles spawn halfway inside the terrain and can clip through everything. People as well.
*The player can fall into the void when climbing some buildings from certain angles.
*Going into some areas with a vehicle can cause it to become completely immobile and impossible to control. Sometimes even on the air, like a fly trapped in spider web.
*The player can die randomly when walking over or being near objects due to the shoddy physics.
*Grabbing an enemy from behind almost always causes textures to flicker.
*The objects NPCs and enemies hold sometimes get duplicated and stay in the air (or at the spot they got duplicated).
*Some quest objectives get updated without clearing the previous one.
*Some quest objectives break if you don't do them in a certain order.
*If V sleeps with detective River the two kids in the other room become permanently inactive for that playthrough. They will just stand upright clipping through their beds.
*After loading a save the environment and characters have not loaded properly and I get a glimpse of weirdness, to put it mildly.
*If you load a save during a quest with Panam the player spawns in the driver's seat where Panam is. Effectively becoming one with Panam and not in a sexual way.
*Optics scanner interface doesn't display during and after some quests.
*Some cyberware such as the Biomonitor don't work at all.
*Summoning a vehicle can: spawn it inside other vehicles, spawn it on a road above/below you, drive away from you instead of to you.
*When disassembling in the backpack the inventory doesn't refresh and the icon of the disassembled item stays there.
*Loading a save within a room that becomes accessible only for a quest (eg meeting room with Lizzy for the "Violence" side quest) locks the doors to that room permanently preventing progress with that save as a result.
items like cigars not rigged in the hands of NPCs, floating in space out in front of characters

Police SUV's hovering in air, flying through solid objects then vanishing.

NPC pedestrians walking down street, then you cam in another direction and then back to where NPC was and they are gone or a different pedestrian is there in their place.

Police shooting at NPCs and those NPCs just cower and are not hit by bullets, they don't die.

Damage modeling that often does not work. 80% of the time a motorcycle will just bounce off objects and not take damage and you rarely fall off.

Let me just say that all the stuff they got lazy with and did not implement, I consider a bug as well, if not then its fraud like....

The lack of proper law enforcement mechanics...no vehicle pursuits, wanted level lasts maybe 20 seconds if that, even at 2 stars (a total joke) Police lights also do not function on police vehicles.

Pedestrians/NPC's that have absolutely no logic.

On current patch, 1.06.

1. Periods of CTDs every 10 to 15 minutes for two or three hours. Reports sent to CDPR.
2. Elements of the UI and environment (eg dialogue boxes) becoming permanent and occasionally not even a reload removing.
3. Cars and lorries falling out of the sky.
4. Cars and lorries popping in and out of sight while driving right behind them.
5. Cars and lorries driving into walls when trying to turn a corner.
6. Summoning a vehicle for V and watching it trash a line of traffic and itself.
7. NPC AI freezing in combat.
8. Missing and low res textures. Latter very often seen with posters in post-release patches.
9. Missing weapons in combat - mantis blades only weapon which worked.
10. Unlootable items.
11. Driving inside Panam. (Fairly well documented bug now.)
12. Performance degrading over time, restarting game seems to help. Suggests memory leak (possibly known from comments made by CDPR?).
13. T-posing NPCs.
14. NPCs crouching in fear, and remaining crouched, for no apparent reason.
15. Items/NPCs becoming stuck in floors and walls.
16. Physics engine glitches not already mentioned - from killing self on a step to leaving an NPC I KO'd a smear on the ground when putting him down.
17. Numerous shards which are blank.
18. Occasional audio glitching when major NPCs speak - can range from unvoiced lines through to sounding like they're talking via CB radio.
Fellow Foe Jan 2, 2021 @ 3:51pm
1. In quest GIG: Goodbye Night City hiding body in a container counted as lethal
2. Exiting the Rayfield Caliburn caused to fall through the floor (just one place where Quadra is under the ground)
3. Traffic rarely tries to ride around an obstacle resulting in driving through side wall.
4. T-posing NPCs
5. In final Beat on The brat, the opponent getting stuck on a corner pole and basically unable to do anything
6. Enemies recognizing bodies while You sneak with them (this is the most game-breaking one for me)
7. NPCs reacting to illegal activity which apparently is jumping
8. Bodies exploding when putting them down in a too narrow space or too close to another body
9. Gliding on 10 degree slopes such as road railings
10. When gliding down a short path sometime experiencing huge fall damage, sometimes making barricades lethal
11. Missing thumbnails in inventory. Strangely this happened much more often early game than now.
12. In one of the main missions, when escaping with Rogue, a guy got displaced on a motorcycle by half a meter
13. Quest items bugs... Quest items don't disappear from inventory. When crafting, quest items get duplicated and stay in inventory.
14. Audio glitches including: missing lines, intense crackling sessions (Linux), on call switching between distorted voice and clean voice.
15. Calls during exchanges with Johny making it impossible to reply to Johny before timer runs out
16. On headphones voices being hearable only in vision cone. Turning to the side, so the speech source is outside of the view cone, completely mutes the speech.
17. Events disappearing outside of render range (this is especially annoying as sniper when You're trying to re-position and suddenly a barricade along with all its guards chasing You is gone
18. Keyboard shortcuts disappearing in inventory when disassembling multiple items
19. Lip sync missing (this is super common)
20. Inability to loot common crafting components from robotic enemies, the icons shows, but the bodies become uninteractable
21. Inability to pick items due to placement. This is especially true for abstract paintings (which I don't think should be spawning in the world on shelves, because they look bizzare)
22. Floating cellphones, lattes and so on
23. Panam raiding an outpost quest auto-save puts you in driver seat. This is annoying especially since this sequence can be very luck based because there's a lot of damage output and You may need to rely on luck to complete the sequence.
24. When disassembling mods in outfitting mode, the mods don't dissapear and will be coppied to a tab You switch to after disassembling them.
25. Calling a person can make it spawn the person in the world. One time got rogue spawning right beside me sitting on an invisible couch in the middle of the city center.
26. In River mission, when editing a braindance, prompt for exiting the braindance not showing up (shortcut still works though)
27. When dissassembling or selling quantities of items, hovering cursor on the button disables the Tab shortcut
28. River's gun "Crash" has a weird delay between pressing the button and firing, kind of like it was Tech Weapon
29. When comparing the duplicated weapons (due to quest item bug), the hover popup flickers and next time You hover it doesn't appear at all.
