Xbox one s controller sprint problem

Sprint does not work all the time, It needs to be pressed 3-4 times in a row to start the run. My gamepad works very well other games.

I imagine you have the game on GOG? You should try their forums.

The problem is your game pad. I use an official xbox one controller and have no such problem.

But I have no problem with the same LS button in other games. For example resident evil 3 has same sprint button and no issue...

I agree with this. You don't own the game here. So why use a feature of community if you think it's not useful (and state that by buying somewhere else?)

Yeah, to be fair, the vast majority of the Steam community understands when some people use Steam to seek help regarding games they got on Epic cuz Epic doesn't have forums.

But GOG is quite developed, feature-wise. They have their own forums and everything.

If you're using Steam Input change it so that there's less range until the maximum value. You can only sprint at full deflection.

The controller config for the game, in Steam settings. You have to modify the left stick so it has a "ring" on the outside that's basically a dead zone so the stick doesn't have to be all the way to any side to be at the maximum value. In the game you can only sprint when the analog output is at a full 1.0. You can apply a config to this game only so it doesn't affect your other games.

Personally i think these forums should be locked for non owners on steam.

If someone buys on EPIC and use steam community, steam overlay and steam big picture they're clearing stating steam is better. Still, they choose to buy the game somewhere else because of a five dollar discount.

i am having same issue with official xbox controller on steam. Let me know if you find a fix

hey i went to contros->first person controller options->advanced options and changed the response curve to Dynamic and it seems to have fixed it. Might be worth a shot

Why be so negative about it. Where the person bought the game doesn't matter in the least.
