Who else has noticed that The Game is a Complete Garbage ?

Or you just keep telling yourself that the game is good because you already paid cash for it and told everyone that the game will be good and now you cant take it back because you will look like a fool ?

Combat was never their strong. I didn't expect much, I got what I expected

Sound design is good and helps with immersion, could've been better. I was expecting more.

Visual presentation is amazing, on this part I strongly disagree with everyone else. It's clrar there's lot of visual bugs and they shouldn't released like this, but it's clearly correctable.

Now tie the visual presentation with the story telling. It is their strong and it is good. If you're not enjoying the story you shouldn't even have bought this game to begin with. The first person perspective is amazing. I can see facial expressions like I've never seen in any other game. And that is without cutscenes. Those are in game graphics. That scene where you talk with Skye ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!

Now for the technical part the game runs smooth for me, obviously I'm not using all graphical settings since I don't have the latest piece, and we can't also ignore all the glaring bugs that need to be fixed but they're not enough to make me not enjoy the experience.

Overall their great mistake is the amount of technical bugs. Anyone that complains about their core gameplay had wild expectations. The game is exactly what they presented in many videos. I've rewatched them yesterday to understand more of the lies people claim there was, and aside from technical presentation I could only see vague words that COULD be interpreted as more mechanics, but if you seriously hang your expectations onto vague words you're someone who'll constantly be disappointed so no solution here.

I got what I expected gameplay wise, the game just needed more time on the oven.

Side quests could also use more flavor. The main mission is amazing with its story telling, I wish there were more side quests that used this.

Also the introduction as a video was a poor choice. It should've been gameplay.

No it is not.
Game have problems, well i am suprised that CDPR give us product not fully finished.

But in same time you cant ignore every other aspect of the game because of optimalization and glitches. Core gameplay i still find awesome, this city i so beatiflul and amazingly designed. I still find gameplay very imersive, i really like dialogues during the car drive as a passanger.

NO. STOP IT. YOU HAVE PLAYED BETTER AND YOU KNOW IT. Even Watchdogs has better driving.

You mean like the way it crashes immediately for me about once in every four or five times I try to open the inventory? Yeah, that's an immersion-breaker there for sure.

I'll say one thing though - the crashes sure are efficient. I mean, one second I'm in-game and the next second I'm not. Absolute flawless transition from game to desktop.

I personally agree with topic starter. While ppl continue to cry about tech issues, they can’t see deeper. The very game itself is boring, and this won’t be fixed. It’s strange, but i personally feel myself like i’m trying to play some mix of bad designed deus ex + saints row mutant rly.
The only good thing is main plot (well it’s not some kind of godlike, it’s just good and that’s all), other stuff is boring as f.
Driving? Boring and not the best one.
Shooting? Well kinda decent, but this element suffers greatly from low fps which is a problem on most systems right now.
Stealth? Crappy, buggy, absolutely boring.
Hacking? Well this one is kinda funny cuz it’s a cheat)) yeah u can just simply hide behind trash boxes and fry enemies with “magic”. Boring and dump.
Melee combat? Very bad. U just don’t feel it. Some mmorpg games have more impact and physics in melle combat than this game.
Sandbox content? Boring and all the same. Kill bad guys or kill bad guys and steal object.
Ai? Well.... enemies just stand and sometimes cry insults.... The weakest part of all previous ♥♥♥♥ i mentioned here.
Visual style? I personally prefer deus ex with it’s golden colors than this rainbow circus, but that depends on personal tastes.
So what’s the conclution? The game itself is a boring half gta, half deus ex mutant with tons of boring mechanics, content, and huge amount of technical issues.

I think this game is bad for CDPR. I don't think it's a popular opinion to say that when you're judging the quality of a product, the experience and quality of past products of the creator should be factored into the overall quality of the product being judged.

For example, if a high school kid made this game, I'd be impressed and judge this game favorably. But this game was made by CDPR. Just 5 years ago they released a masterpiece title (The Witcher 3). I expected A LOT more from them. I am honestly still shocked they made this game, I'm truly dumbfounded. It's like watching Mike Tyson in his prime getting knocked out by a 5th grader.

I think if you excuse all the bugs and presume that they all get fixed, then this game is REALLY REALLY REALLY mediocre. This game reminds me of the game Homefront The Revolution. The world is incredibly uninteresting, uninteractive, unimmersive, and the things that fill the world up are generic little gimmicks to waste time and give you the illusion that you're roleplaying. It's really pathetic.

The story so far has been incredibly uninteresting; side quests in TW3, not even the best ones, have had more interesting plot lines and characters than the main story in Cyberpunk 2077. And I'm sorry, but most people who says otherwise have never played TW3 or they're trying extremely hard to be optimists. I assume there are going to be a few that genuinely prefer Cyberpunk 2077, but I feel like they're idiots who lick sandpaper or something. This game is objectively not as good as previous CDPR games in every single meaningful metric.

I’m reserving judgement for a few months of patching. If they can patch all these graphical glitches and actually make the game look like a quality product it would be perfect. Story is great so far.

Complete garbage would mean every aspect of the game sucks which is not true.

I think Witcher 3 is still their best game.

there are definitely bugs, but for me I've had a stable almost 10 hours of play. The results vary a lot it seems.
I think the game is definitely a notch above the usual dreck of console crap that gets released every year. I'd say a solid 8/10 so far.
