Okay, having a bit of a problem here. So right after you save ben, you're supposed to wait for dekota's guy, except he never comes. any solutions?

I left the quest till later, then came back to it, the time it worked is that i parked the car outside of the waiting area, then you have to find the little skip time button (check the 2nd or 3rd parking lane from the left)

Sorry to dig up an ancient post, but I was searching for a solution myself.

Don't follow the path the game gives you, just make straight for the objective across the desert, park outside of the fence, and then approach normally. What happens normally is when your passenger remarks negatively about you approaching the border wall you're quietly failing the mission, so don't even get close to it.

If i am not mistaken you had to drive to somewhere and wait for him, right? Did you do that at first hand? Cuz i didnt have any problems

If you follow the suggested route it takes you down the highway, toward the border, and that's the problem. I thought I was quite clear about that in the first place.

Well, i did follow everything from that quest and it didnt cause any problems for me... So i was just making sure... probs some glitch but idk how u would fix it

Sorry, didnt see the dates, but i still followed the path the game gave me and it went good for me, my post was more towards the OP since i didnt see him explaining if he did any of the stuff i asked originally, but i also didnt dig the page much, so my bad.

Thanks....the quest just bugged for me too..im guessing the border issue effects quite a few people. Thanks for posting possible solution.
