Will the game run on MicroSoft Disk Operating System?

THere's 57GB preload + 43GB day 1 patch, so 100 GB total, or 102400 MB, so 71111 disks. However, you'll need some additional room for combining the files over the disks, verifying checksums etc, so let's say 78222 floppy disks.

Reading a disk - if you include the time to swap disks but don't faff about, takes about a minute.

That means reading them will take a little over half a year (32 weeks) if you do it 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, no vacations.

Then add time because disks are faulty and need replacing. Then having to reinstall fifteen hundred times because the checksum failed because of a bad read.

I am really, really glad we have the internet.

Yes, I remember I had games on like 12 or 14 floppies only and I would pray for all of them to not be corrupted!

Even better: get it as Listing for your C64 only to go insane when it doesnt run because you made one single Mistake in of these millions of Lines of code.

It's like when we had 56k modems we risked to download huge game installer file. After two days we saw "Download failed.Connection Error." on 95%....

technically yes, if you loaded all the necessary drivers from Win10 and met the spec sheet

good luck trying to backport drivers contingent upon the NT kernel on a 16bit operating system
most modern CPU microcode won't even natively boot anything pre-NT, and struggles to do so through VM without a bit of elbow grease

it isn't even technically feasible, it's outright not possible to hackerman DOS to run cyberpunk no matter how funny you think it'd be to try
