Damn Whippersnappers, get the hell off my lawn.
*Gets the shotgun loaded with rocksalt and carpet tacks*
We just installed Cyberpunk 2077 with floppies just for the shíts and giggles.
CyberPrank 2077
Yes, I remember I had games on like 12 or 14 floppies only and I would pray for all of them to not be corrupted!
good luck trying to backport drivers contingent upon the NT kernel on a 16bit operating system
most modern CPU microcode won't even natively boot anything pre-NT, and struggles to do so through VM without a bit of elbow grease
it isn't even technically feasible, it's outright not possible to hackerman DOS to run cyberpunk no matter how funny you think it'd be to try
Reading a disk - if you include the time to swap disks but don't faff about, takes about a minute.
That means reading them will take a little over half a year (32 weeks) if you do it 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, no vacations.
Then add time because disks are faulty and need replacing. Then having to reinstall fifteen hundred times because the checksum failed because of a bad read.
I am really, really glad we have the internet.
If only we could give rewards in here, you'd have one for sure :P
