EULA's stance on cheating
I couldn't contact CDPR's support (can't find a contact form on support.cdprojektred.com), so I'm asking here.
EULA prohibits users from cheating in the game as stated in rule E of section 7.
Cyberpunk is a singleplayer game. Why on earth would you prohibit me from cheating if it doesn't affect other players?
It's the only singleplayer game I know to prohibit it. Why?

Cause if multiplayer player comes in, achievements, etc.

Because reasons. High possibility is... They don't want people to alter the game, it's their propriety, so it's theirs right.

But well... The real reason, if not my supposition, will probably stay unknown

Multiplayer will be a separate game. And what do achievements have to do with it? Plenty of singleplayer games have them, and only this one prohibits cheating.

Hopefully that in no way gets in the way of the modding community. I suppose time will tell.

To get them "platinum" achievements. Flexxers gotta flex. Also get done sooner. Dont have time to play the game. Got more games to play? Need that steam level?

weird. imagine they put in "time savers" like in the recent assassins creed games and thats the reason why you arent allowed to cheat:cozycastondeath:

Looks like its a EULA for *all* their games and services (You can see it even makes note of witcher series and others), which includes GOG stuff as well. The cheating section looks to be a catch-all, nothing more.
Either it's forward looking towards multiplayer, which would be odd since it's a separate product according to them. Or, looking at the wording of it, it may be to cover their bases in case of people trying to reverse engineer or decompile their code in order to protect their IP. Or it's just boiler plate for all their products.

To experiment, to make it more fun after finished it 80%-100% legitimately?

It should be okay to cheat as long as you don't play MP in the future, no need to bother with that kind of silly EULA, and there will be mods that will alter the game, simply inevitable. What they gonna do? Put anticheat?

Reverse engineering and stuff is covered in rule D of the same section and I have no problems with that rule.

Theres a few games out there that disable achievements if cheats or console is used. Seems like a better way to deal with it than straight up banning cheating in a SP game in my book.
