DLSS Quality is too much of a frame drop, causing it to dip below 60 too often. And I can hardly tell the difference because of the injected sharpening.
The average is more like 62 FPS.
I prefer the look with sharpening.

I followed the advice from a post made by someone with the username Gutter and I got a quite a large boost to my fps and it fixed the stuttering. After the fix I play on high-ultra on all settings except for shadows which I set to medium, I also turned raytracing for shadows off but kept reflections. I mostly get 55-80 fps depending on the area, lighting and number of enemies/other npc's but it's very playable, most of the time i'm at a stable 60-75'ish.
I've only got an 2060 by the way.
It is obviously sad that customers needed to edit their files to get a proper fps. but here comes the post that fixed it for me:
"Make a backup of, and open the file below with a text editor
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\memory_pool_budgets.csv
Replace the value for PoolCPU (under PC) with 1/2 your RAM -4gb for windows
Replace the value for PoolGPU with what your GPU has.
save, and exit
Durango/Orbis is Xbox/PS, so this was essentially throttling down performance to console levels. There's also people on the thread I linked saying that "0" works for them as it dynamically changes so you're welcome to try that.
I went from 25-35 FPS on max settings to a smooth 60+fps with a 9900k/2080ti, and 64gb of ram @2560x1080 (fov @110)"

I have it set with RTX ON ULTRA as well with DLSS quality. Make sure to adjust your SSR, volumetric fog/resoltuion, Crowd Density, AND set your framerates to around 50-55. I did mine at 55, but it does drop to 50 framerates when it's a busy area like Watson.
i turned volumetric fog/resolution and raytracing to medium the rest is on ultra.
the game should run great with those settings but i didnt check the game after the last update it might be even better now. I recommend to turn ray tracing to medium if you want stable 60 fps.
edit: various lowered settings might be doable, but ya, not ultra
My responses get often ignored, seems like there's less people with performance problems and more with bug problems.
I can't even get 60 fps at 1080p (even at lowest settings), so It's unlikely you'll get better performance unless you have an intel CPU or you're one of the lucky people who doesn't have any issues.
