this patch ruined a bunch of player models, now most people look like black health stim packs, please fix

Can you be more specific please, like which models, or on what server? Are you sure they were downloaded and not 404'd?

We cannot use DLSS in Q2RTX because of the GPL license on Quake.

After the patch the game no longer loads my saves, giving me the following message:

Game Error: savegame from different version (got 2, expeted 8).

I hope I don't have to start over. I had just arrived at the final level...

Game wont load my saves now. Says "Game Error: savegame from different version (got 2, expeted 8)." Please don't tell me I have to start over. Guess I'll just roll back.

The save game incompatibility issue is caused by the update to the latest version of Q2PRO (the engine Q2RTX is based on) that brought many internal changes and fixes. Sorry about that.

I've created a "v1.5.0" branch on Steam for those of you who want to roll back to the previous version.

Btw: builds for multiple versions can be found on GitHub, https://github.com/NVIDIA/Q2RTX/releases

Really, I had to look for a v1.5.0 of the whole game, install it somewhere else so I could get the gamex86_64.dll and the .pdb files and put it in the game folder on steam... this will help a lot, thanks!
