No music?
Where's my NiN guys. C'mon, this shouldn't be hard if Quake 2 normal has it.

NiN only did the quake 1 music btw. The music would normally be played straight off of the CD, its not in the game files so u would need a modded game for it to work without the CD

The devs are working on it. They said so on the github page.

For now, I recommend this:

The doom soundtrack fits perfectly. At one point it sounded like Olivia was speaking to me over the loudspeaker in the Strogg power station.

Music support is in the last branch and will be available in the next release, which will possible be 1.1.0
Massacher Jun 14, 2019 @ 9:35pm
So why didn't they put the music was in at release?

I think because the port that this version was based on had removed it (that port was focused on multiplayer) and nVidia saw this as a tech demo of their renderer rather than something that people would play. Kudos to them for stepping up their support, though.

Indeed. Stroggos feels so empty without the music.

You don't deserve to complain about the lack of music if you actually think NiN did the soundtrack.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Music is addable in the 1.1.0 release. Currently live on Github: https://github.com/NVIDIA/Q2RTX
Makaki Jun 18, 2019 @ 8:47pm
I still see 1.0.0? (13 days ago)
Thrackk Jun 18, 2019 @ 10:41pm
1.1.0 is live on the Nvidia site!

Shame we have to redownload the entire thing. How come it isn't on github or steam, I wonder.

Should be live on Steam now, everyone.
