I got it for $50. It wasn't a superb narrative though, the combat was basic and it had no-name voice-actors. That's why I wish it was just a $50 DLC for Avengers, so we could actually get something out of it that would last a lot longer.
The joke is on you.
The 12 hour completion is a speedrun time, where the player skips everything possible.
You know the speedrun time for Grand Theft Auto 5? 5h 56m 47s.
For Witcher 3, it's even less, 2h 41m 7s.
It took me over 23 hours to complete Guardians of the Galaxy, I didn't rush to the end. I got excellent value for my money, this game is the best ever Marvel game for PC.
Interestingly enough there are space games like Elite Dangerous out there which feature realistic open space maps, and the brain not handling it is precisely the issue. We are not equipped to handle interstellar reality, but prefer the type of worlds we actually live in. And most people live on a quite small map, relatively speaking.
The 16-24 hours of narrative focused journey through the game world of GotG is vastly better as an experience than having free roam access to these galaxies. Just the single galaxy featured in Elite Dangerous has more star systems than the player can visit during their actual life time, and almost all of these are procedurally generated so it does not matter in which direction you go in, everything is pretty much the same as anywhere else.
No Man's Sky has multiple galaxies for the player to explore, yet the most riveting gameplay in that game is focused around building a base for yourself.
Currently at 24 hours in my first playthrough and chapter 14 of 16 and I did not repeat a chapter.
That being said, the game is simply magnificent! Worth every penny, be it 15 hours or 25.
This is a weird thing to say, especially coming from a player that plays games like Assassin's Creed, PC Building Simulator, Death Stranding. Those games are kinda the exact same thing over and over again too, even Far Cry 5 which you play.
Is it just that Far Cry 6 is that bad?
Its rare these days I buy a game at release due to my frightening backlog but I really didn't regret this and will likely do another play through sooner rather than later.
You just gonna stalk me like that? Eww weirdo thx for reminding me to private my accounts again. ME playing those games dosen't change my opinion that a single player focused game is more interesting. You are very weird
