Unable to take screenshots

Yesterday I was able to take screenshots, today I'm not.
I tried to switch from full screen to borderless but it didn't fix.
Do you know what's the problem?

I was able to take screenshots for a while the first time I played it and then suddenly it stopped working...

I somehow fixed the problem.

What I did was going into "advanced scaling settings" in the Windows 10 Display settings and manually setting the scaling at 100% from there instead of setting it in the automatic way.

I dunno if this was what caused the problem but it eventually fixed it.
I'm playing using full screen + 2K resolution settings on a Full HD Monitor.

It's their compatibility shim that's causing the problems. You need to undo their forced Windows 8 compatibility mode hack and clear DPI scaling.

You can do that in the system registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers\

Delete the entry for Yakuza3.exe (i.e. D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Yakuza 3\Yakuza3.exe)

thanks man worked like a treat. Is there a list of games qloc made so I can archive this fix for later and also do it for the other games I have installed?

They don't usually screw up their ports like this, so you don't need to do that :P You will need to apply the same fix to the other 2 games they just released, but hopefully this mess is limited to just these.

i'm just desperate tofix resident evil 3 lol. i'll put the tinfoil away though. Still appreciate what you've done for pc gaming in general.

Despite the fix from Kaldaien it stopped working once again...

EDIT: I checked the register again and the entry was again in there...I deleted it once again but when I started the game...it reappeared again and it's not working.

EDIT2: and now...it works, despite still having the entry in the register. Looks so random..

Special K would be a hell of a lot more reliable than the Steam overlay at this point, lol.
