Crysis 2 Contains Viruses

When I start the game up, I see an eye. Then the game crashes and windows defender (windows 10) says it found 1 threat. After I uninstalled the game, I did a full scan of my laptop and it found 0 threats. It's not my graphics card though. Please help me fix this.

Where is the proof the keylogger came from crysis2?? I just reinstalled and scanned it with 3 programs including defender. Nothing flagged up, and again if you read other posts on it, people go far more depth into it than I do. (uninstalled it again as not really wanting to play it again)

I just cannot be bothered to keep going backwards and forwards.

If you think its a virus then contact steam , who will investigate it, which they have done in the past, and then just tell you directly it is not infected. or just uninstall. Honestly I really do not care.

I for one have played the game fine for 8 years as have multiple people.

Guys believe or not - Steam version definetely has virus - I've retail DVD and used code for Origin and downloaded / installed from Origin - played 10 min ago. The same PC and the same Windows Defender - no warning.


Also - game was so smooth with origin - steam version was so laggy...

I'll uninstall / delete from steam.... so bad... Do not take risk and do not download....

You're right, the Steam version of Crysis 2 was so buggy, the HUD kept disappearing on me lol, had to quit back to main menu and reload the game anytime that happened.

I was thinking Crysis 3 was gonna be the tipping point for me to get Origin, not Crysis 2 lol.

To think that GOG's distribution for Crysis and Warhead were flawless!

Crysis 2 does not contain a keylogger. You got that from your porn viewing.
