Alan Wake 2 is hurting my head
I don’t know why but the game is giving me migraines everytime I play. I’ve seen it suggested that the reason is the low Field of View. I increased it in the ini file from 1.0 to 2.0 but my headaches remain. I’ve also enabled motion blur, something I don’t normally use because I dislike the effect. That didn’t help either. What is going on?!

If anythibg I'd say motion blur would be more likely to cause headaches than not.

What's your framerate like? Low framerates can cause headaches.

It fluctuates between 40and 60 but i have G-sync on so it seems smooth enough

Maybe the fps is the issue then, try lowering the graphics a bit.....also try to increase brightness a bit. Game is quite dark at places maybe that's what is causing you trouble

The fact that Saga was blackwashed gives anyone with intelligence a migraine.
The acting in her "mind space" is atrocious. I'm sick of seeing her look up and down EVERY time there's something new and she has to "analyze it" while sitting down.

The game doesn’t offer the option to cap the frame limit but i used Nvidia control panel to cap the game at 40 (i have a 120Hz TV) and then when that didn’t work I capped it at 30 and even turned on ray tracing. None of those things worked for me. I also turned down the camera speed but that hasn’t helped either. I’m out of ideas.
