Warrior and spore druid can be quite fun. Heavy armor, necrotic damage with the spore druid special ability, a little bit of support magic depending how much lvl you invest in it. You could do 2 weapon fighter with this, it's quite funny to play.
As for paladin... I think vengeance or oathbreaker with tempest cleric is one very powerfull multiclass.
Monk could go with thief (2 bonus action). You can also build it with warrior and spore druid, but it start to be complicated and you can easely mess up IMO, if you're not following guide or accustomed to multiclassing.
Go Tempest Cleric, blow up and knock around enemies with thunder and lightning like an evil force of nature. Cackle while doing so. Worship Talos the Stormlord for extra RP.
Was also thinking of doing a Monk with big bad oogah boogah if Rage works with the Monks unarmed? Since if I run fighter first for heavy armor, and I just level up the Monk, wouldn't that mean my Monk is just a heavy armor wearing Monk?
Just some theory crafting right now. I def built my human DU for an evil playthrough and he isn't a spellcaster for sure. Defintely melee. Im thinking of running Paladin on my next run, but hard to say. I love Minthara but shes.... evil playthrough lol. Hmm. IDK!
Gotta just do some theory crafting and thinking
Edit: AH SHOOT! Just got some spoilers. I should have went Paladin from the start but now im starting act 3! NOOO!
Evil cleric seems like a good idea too, but we already have one.... which also has very interesting setup after act2. Ofc you can get her items for yourself and discard her....
Warlock is straight up busted if you abuse lightning charges but if playing dark urge you get locked out of a robe that breaks your EB damage.
Bard is fun, if you go college of swords you can have more attacks than a fighter by level 6. I like lore with 1 level in life cleric for support.
Paladin is okay, WAY too overhyped by the community however. It isnt in the top list of DPS or Tanks that you can make.
Bard/sorcerer is alot of fun, i went sword bard, but i wonder if i shoud've went lore, twin cutting words for cheap sorcery points sounds tempting...
Anyway that combo is alot of fun
Perfect for an evil guy, and one of the strongest and fun multiclass at the same time.
I was thinking who would be good class to use shadowblade, 2d8 shortsword that requires concentration and guess what... open hand monk doesnt concentrate on anything
The one I had most fun with is thief3/open hand9. You would punch harder than most weapons and be attacking at least four times each turn. On the other hand monks need good gears to function and you won't be hitting like that until very late.
Paladin is good for protagonist and a lot of fun trying to maintain your oath while playing the Urge. I find monoclass paladin a bit boring late game though. You would be erasing bosses but mobs are more frustrating late game so most of the time I was just a handicapped fighter.
Thought about sword bard but I had a hard time imaging DU being a bard. Like how was he murdering people to begin with?
Or do those spells scale from INT? And you will end up with separate spellbooks?
