Missing that, barrelmancy always helps. Hope you snatched all those smoke powder barrels.
invisibility and haste would otherwise help....
already fought my way to the roof, you can't get up there prior to resolving that as far as i knew.
Oh, don't forget you can get out of Moonrise Towers (to the fast travel point) and rest, if you really need it.
- Speed potions/haste scrolls. Additional movement, action and armor.
- Potions can be placed on floor and "used" by attaking it. If placed correctly will heal few characters at cost of one action. Can also be thrown to achive same result (but it is harder as range of effect gets wonky). Healing done this way still triggers efects from items boosting healing and those efects when stacked are quite a boost.
- Use arrows (fire/electro/ice) to boost range dmg.
- Water botle broken on ground near enemies/thrown at enemies makes them wet. Wet targets get more dmg from electro and freezing attacks.
- Powder barrels, If it is not working, then you are using not enough of them.
- Empty containers like chests/barrels can be stacked and climbed on to get advantage on range atacks
- Loading previous save and comming back more prepared. Changing builds and items. Even act 1 items can create quite potent sets in right hands.
i've been using elixrs but i'm out of crafting materials for potions. is there a merchant anywhere selling things I haven't found?
Also it feels like a waste to spend 1 bonus action to heal around 20hp (superior healing potion avg healing) when I lose 50hp per round.
crafted a potion of resistance to all damage and gave it to my PC with an elixir of bloodlust, proc'd silence on the dog, mage and the boss to stop any spells and frightened the mage so they couldn't leave a darknes sphere, prone'd the boss and used all in + extra action to kill him turn one, after that all my companions died but enemies couldn't damage my PC due to the resistance to all damage potion (was taking about 4 damage per turn from spider and 1 per hit from necroids with 94hp, and i could just use healing potions as bonus action to regen it all) and killed everyone with my pc.
Congrats ,) Now on to the real final fight of Act 2 hah <3 And for future playthrough, you can remove at least 2 combatants from this fight before it happens..... ^^
